It’s always good when you notice employees wearing the boots they manufactured and crafted. I love how some steps in the manufacturing process are very modern and machine made while other steps require old school skilled craftsmen to accomplish.
How are only 60 people interested in this. I love all the factories where artisans make amazing things. Check out the Paul Reed Smith factory or the Chris Reeve factory. Total broner.
@@virtusleather I saw a few old school machines there still. They don't exist anymore, and are probably impossible to repair because they don't make parts for them.
@@virtusleather no what's sad to see is all of the automation and still a huge price tag on their shoes versus other brands that are handmade with more durable material at the same price point or less

Bet they all have tinnitus and on their way to hearing loss. (No plugs) I'm surprised at the scale of this operation. Idk anyone with viberg boots. They are expensive as fuck. The employees just rip right through the build process. I figured it would be a handful of people In a place half the size

Un-bloody-believable. Wow ! US$750 for my #8 Service Boots seems a tad miserly on my part. Thank you !
Kinda takes the magic out of olde world handmade image of bootmaking.
Boy are you going to be disappointed when automation takes 70% of jobs away.
@@mad0uche Hoping for continued enthusiasm in handmade revival. I make boots myself, and although this is facsinating to watch, its also sad to see.
