I know most phones have abandoned the AUX port, but honestly they could have atleast put that in for backup or connecting older devices. Sometimes bluetooth/wifi connections can be a real pain in the *ss. There's just something about a AUD$1,200 speaker not having any physical audio connection options that really bugs me..
Beautiful speaker though and I still may get one :)

I have one, and honestly, I feel like it was a waste of money. It's $800 USD, but it lacks any kind of physical inputs, which forces you to stream music. Not only that, you need to be connected to Wi-Fi to use the app, which allows you to have full functionality of the speaker and settings, and do any kind of updates, which really blows. Sound is, in my opinion, mediocre considering price, and that's mainly due to the weak mids, which are pushed pretty far back and sound anemic, in my opinion. Bass goes low, but who really cares when the rest of the sound is lackluster? Overall, the music industry trying so hard to push users into the world of wireless really irritates me. To make matters worse, they try and force Amazon Alexa onto you by putting that garbage in your speaker. I don't like what this speaker stands for, and when I consider all cons and what I can actually buy for $800, it really is a huge waste of money in my opinion. There are tons of better options.

If you asked me it is the consumer forcing the industry into wireless streaming products, not the other way around. Lots of people don't want to hear that the best solution is a professionally installed custom solution with real loudspeakers and wiring. People want to have their cake and eat it too.

@@GramophoneMD "If you asked me it is the consumer forcing the industry into wireless streaming products, not the other way around."
We are each free to believe whatever we want to believe, but as someone who sees the bigger picture; one that clearly shows the pushing of wireless onto everything 'they' can, not only in the music industry, I have to disagree. In fact, my knowledge on this is more extensive than the average person. People high up push certain 'technologies' to push agendas, and wireless everything is one of them. That's all I'll say about that here, as I'm not here to cause an argument.

I'm not ignoring the perceived "convenience" of not having wires, however....there are certain, how do I say this.... repercussions. Also, much of the wanting of wireless is also the result of decades of.....influence.

hello! When the speaker is configured, it asks you to give it a name and you leave several options or go to the configuration and change the name of the speaker for one of the options, for example, living room, I had it with the name multimedia room and it sounded very saturated and change the name and I think it sounds better, you can try that and maybe you will find the sound a little nice!, and it is true that the application crashes a lot.

@@brandonreyeslopez3644 Hi Brandon. Thanks for your tips, however, I don't have Wi-Fi because I don't believe in wireless technology where I can help it for my own personal reasons. And that's the thing. The fact that this piece of crap "speaker" makes it mandatory to have Wi-Fi to access those core functions of the speaker, instead of having it directly on the speaker is one of the main reasons I say the things I do about it.
There's absolutely zero reason they couldn't have baked the ability to change those options directly into the speaker itself along with physical inputs, except to push their stupid wireless agendas.
So, I'm stuck here with an $800 football shaped abomination that hardly sounds better than an actual speaker I bought on Amazon for $80. In many ways it actually sounds better, believe it, or not, and it's entirely battery powered. Crazy, right? And do you know what a large part of that reason is? It has actual physical inputs. Imagine that!

@@corndog9482 the jack always helps something sound better!
I think you can do the settings, and the settings will remain, even if you don't use wifi, there is a little trick you can do is to connect it by with ethernet and you connect it to a usb c adapter to connect it to the usb c which is called the service port.

The motherboard overheats and it breaks easily.
This speaker is not made for bass heads.
