Was lookin at my coins in the 1970's then I started up again in October of 2018 when I had to wear a neck brace for 3 months , still going at it strong love it ,I can't stop! I have a great collection and learned a lot on U-TUBE I don't know about this fading stuff I'd be afraid to let any one unless I'm there to look at my coin too!!!!I need to take out my Morgan Dollar again & look at it again..... Here’s a fun question. Are slabbed coins worth their premium? Is the growth in value more substantial than simply collecting as much weight as possible in silver, or as many coins as you can afford even at lower values?

nice information. I didn't understand it very well. The grated code is form by an abbreviation follow by a number? The coin of the example could be G65.
Or de numbers are used only with the abbreviation MS?

I took some dictation down: UNC: MS 70-Perfect / MS69, Perfect only to the naked eye / MS68??? / MS67-may not have any visible scratches / MS66-Visible scratches / MS65-Above average strike / MS64-average or better strike with no severe markings / MS63-average strike, moderate marks and scratches / MS 60-a poor strike with heavy marks
CIRC: Friction or Wear on the devices. AU50-some luster remains / XF-bits of luster, light wear / XF40-the design is still visible but the high points starting to wear, no luster / VF35-light wear, major details still visible / VF30-beginning to flatten / VF20 moderate wear, loss of detail / F / VG / G / AG / FR / PO {Morgans start to wear in the Hair and in the leaves. OB: The feathers on the chest of the eagle}
