I have a grandad thats getting weaker and weaker (Parkinson) but he likes cycling on his electric bicycle and driving around in his car. And i love that he gets about abit and looks at stuff instead of rotting in a chair. So i understand where youre coming from
Absolutely love your videos,my hubby carl as started his first TH-cam video today ,he only as 4 subscribers:( , you really cheer me up loved the one with granddaughter in tractor x
Good job on the Rav, I took my mum out for a spin in a Toyota Landcruiser around the Forest of Dean, stopped at a tea shop. She asked to have hers onboard, didn't fancy mountain climbing again.
Good job with the rav, I did similar for dad(99) but went for a dacia duster of which he highly approves, the noises he makes continue being the same but it's quicker! 😂
Well done with your dad in keeping him up to speed with showing him your place and your plans, any chance you come here with your Rav and take me for a spin😂😂😂😂
So the rav 4 seats … slide the seat right back.. pull and hold the handle UP and the seat will then allow you to fold all the way forward.. and click when its lock in place.. under the front part of the seat theres two levers ,one is for allowing you to slide the seat backwards and forwards the other lever is for unlocking the seat once it’s folded together and locked etc . The best way I found to get the seat in and out is to fold the seat together then open the boot and pull and hold onto the cord thats on the back of the seat the seat should then slide out out via the boot .. my other half had a three door rav from brand new there not bad cars in there day
About your comments on mince - could be because its so versatile (and good quality in general). I mean, I love a steak as much as the next person, but mince (depending on the grade of fat & meat in it) you can use for pretty much anything. Stew, meat sauces, meat loaf, burgers, as filling for pies, and so on - and before anyone says that you could do that with other cuts just as easy, yes, of course you can. But mince is still different. And, after tasting meat from our local butcher vs store-bought meat, I know they're the same in name only, so if/when I can and have space in my freezer, I do like stocking up on butcher shop meat.
I use a seat belt extender to make it easier to reach the seat belt latch and a shorted loop of my old braided leather belt through the roof hand grip. I can steady and pull myself up when getting out. Julie or the girls may have an old leather shoulder strap from a purse or luggage that will do the trick as well. Reuse ♻️ recycle whatever.
hello ian i think if you pull lever on top of seat fold you moght have to pull headrests off it down. then back of seat should be a lever to tip them up . and once there up you should be able pull same lever or one close to it and they should release seat and lift out
Put a bit aside for replacing the struts on the RAV4, especially if you give into the temptation to loading it up and taking it over bumpy terrain. The space in back lends itself to bricks and bags of cement, as well as a transport wheelchair and walker.
looks like your wind breaker stuff needs replacing flying out horizontal 😂😂😂 saw someone mention else where that scaffold wind breaker stuff is cheaper and stronger , could be worth a look if you do replace
Seems to be a decent motor great video has always farmer p ian and Mrs p mother in law p Mikey mille baby pullen Sam emma Abbi and holli and miss biskit miss crumble miss gypsy miss pepper and miss pickle miss Muppet 👍
Great job on the Rav 4. Glad that’s worked and was worth the money to get your Dad out. Being done for all the right reasons!👍🏻👍🏻😃😃
I AM an elderly parent and so long as he doesn't get stressed or agitated by being taken out I think you're doing a good thing 👍🏻
Rav 4 is a great job for your dad. Handy little run around too. Put a chain on the ring feeder to stop the cattle moving it on you 👍

A very good Sunday evening to you all
Hurry up and start a live webcam so we can watch the cows, now they are in the sheds,, very interesting....😁😁🐕🐮🐮🐄🐄🐄.
Its a bracket to make the seatbelt come out lower for when you have children in the back, and to help it go around a childseat easier..
Your a good man Ian looking after your dad

Well done keep Dad happy. It doesn't take much 🙂
Ian could you not use an old rachet strap and hold the round feeder back using the stanchion?

Being lower down easier to get in but sometimes ends up being harder to get out found that out when I had a Saturn car
Headrest out back of seat push forward, pull tog at rear, lift seat up and forward.. then you should see clips underneath..
There a great little motor ian great in the snow my uncle alan has one due to where he lives up in glenalmond above creiff he never gets stuck
Good to see your dad put
I am going through the same thing with my 85 year old mom. It is not easy

Keep yor Dad active as best you can, Plenty of TH-cam video's on removing Rav 4 Seats.
Could you not have given us and the cattle one peaceful sunday without listening to the screaming machine 😂
go into boot and cord on back of seat pull hard it should come out its at the bottom of seat sometimes end up under seat
I reckon the popularity of your Dexter beef mince is because the stuff the supermarkets sell is so bland and tasteless 😢.
Top-man you are. Good insensitive to show farther the new barn then to funky farmer's for a cuppa. Fresh air do him no harm
24:15 great content again

Remove rear seats Rav 4 - YT video = g4ZfksMCfdI (url links not allowed!)
Hi if you put a plastic bag on the seat on the passengers side of you car your Dad will find it easier to swivel in and out of the car.
It's one of those things a designer fucked up on their design so they had to then design another thing and we have to pay for their cockup.
