So the guy released a game that took 10 years to make, overcharged for it (it's not a complete game), left the modding community to pick up all of his slack because he spent way too much development time on the terrible open-world, and now is entirely rebuilding the game from the ground up for presumably the next several years. That's awesome.
True, but there isn't really any competition so we for now we are stuck with mash. His biggest mistake when releasing was not putting it in early access, there wouldn't have been as much backlash.
yeah im so tired of everyone d riding mash, hes on some bs. anyone who argues differently is just blinded or in denial. bmx streets doesnt feel good like pipe did, it has better components but he just started working too much on the wrong stuff, and none of it is very good. hopefully the game improves lol
@@sevshyyper6750 yeah, I actually think his other big mistake was focusing so much on the open world map and customization. He should've focused more on riding and physics, but now we have both a lackluster map and customization. They aren't terrible, but they certainly have that quantity over quality feel.
Video gets a MAJOR thumbs down. Not for you Teku, for EVERY SINGLE "extreme" sport game "developer" F Mash. F Session. F XS. F EA skate. Absolute joke where we are with gaming!
I have been watching a video intervju with Mash. I got the feeling that he is done with Streets. What you have is what you get. He has made his money. Now he focuses on next game=next money.
Uh, cool, "Mash Box". Is this where he tests geometry culling and How to remember players' bike customizations? Or world design, even?
You forgot to mention one of the biggest fixes, the camera! Doesn't get stuck facing backwards anymore and tracks the player properly!
Trueeeeeeee
This isn't a game dev project it's a mental breakdown
what has been worked on since april? is this bike thing 6 months work i dont get it
