    • @AxVxI
      @AxVxI 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      @@Anonymous-iw4hx
      Actually, it's not the beginning.
      There are no A.I. movies.
      This, is shiny crap.
The generated text is Pure Drivel.
Shifting (obviously) generated voices doesn't help to disguise that much.
It's not "realistic" in the sense of "photo realistic."
      It look like CGI.
      Which it is.
But it's not designed and produced by people, using CGI film making technology.
It's a realistic-looking imitation of THAT, for a few seconds at a time.
But it get more unrealistic the more times it runs out of "compute" power, and has to switch to another "realistic" looking imitation of "real" CGI.
But it's not the infancy of AI movies.
      It's the stretched limits.
      Being patched together.
      And faked through.
Just to reach a barely sub-trailer/teaser length, but running out of "convince" before reaching the first minute.
And that is stretching the limits of what can be powered.
The root of the problem is that while companies like AMD and Intel have managed to roughly double the performance of their CPUs and GPUs every 2.4 years,
and companies like HPE, Atos, and Lenovo have achieved similar gains roughly every 1.2 years at the system level,
      power efficiency is lagging behind.
Citing the performance and efficiency figures gleaned from the top supercomputers,
AMD says gigaflops per watt is doubling roughly every 2.2 years,
about half the pace the systems are growing.
Assuming this trend continues unchanged, AMD estimates that we'll achieve a zettaflop-class supercomputer in about 10-years give or take.
For reference, the US powered on its first exascale supercomputer, Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Frontier system, last year.
A supercomputer capable of a zettaflop of FP64 performance would be 1,000x more powerful.
To AMD's credit, its estimate for when we'll cross the zettaflop barrier is at least a little more conservative than Intel's rather hyperbolic claims that it'd cross that threshold by 2027.
What's more, the AMD CEO says such a machine won't exactly be practical unless compute architectures get drastically more efficient and soon.
If things continue on their current trajectory, AMD estimates that a zettaflop-class supercomputer would need somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 megawatts of power.
      "That's probably too much"...
"That's on the scale of what a nuclear power plant would be."
"This flattening of efficiency becomes the largest challenge that we have to solve,
both from a technology standpoint as well as from a sustainability standpoint."
Part of the problem facing chipmakers is the means they've traditionally relied on to achieve generational efficiency gains are becoming less effective.
Echoing Nvidia's leather jacket aficionado and CEO Jensen Huang,
      Moore's Law is slowing down.
"It's getting much, much harder to get density performance as well as efficiency" out of smaller process tech.
"As we get into the advanced nodes, we still see improvements, but those improvements are at a much slower pace," referencing efforts to shrink process tech much beyond 5nm or even 3nm.
But, if we do get to a nuclear power plant-fueled, zettaflop-class 500 megawatt enabled post "infancy" "AI Movie," it will still be only about two minutes closer, from what THIS is, to an imitation of this:

A quickie video with a bunch of "hot robot babes" is about all I'm seeing here. Nothing new at all. No ideas. I suggest putting away the text prompter. Start with a short film draft. Five to fifteen minutes long. Learn to really think and write, develop some original ideas, create an actual story, complete a screenplay, derive a script, do casting, direction, (Yes, work with real live people who may or may not like you) do visual design from the ground up, (there are no shortcuts to quality) editing, (more important than most people realize) post production, more editing. Relying on AI just leaves you with nothing.

Anyone else notice who the characters were modeled after? The girl at the 0:11 mark is Olivia Wilde, 0:22 looks like a mashup of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bryan Cranston, and at 0:28 it looks like a cross between the female terminator and Nebula from Guardians of the Galaxy, 0:32 looks like a mix of Nicole Kidman at her prime and Jody Foster from Contact, and at 0:47 the girl looks like Scarlett Johansson while the girl at 0:49 looks like a mix between Alicia Vikander and Maggie Q. The cyborg/Android at the 0:08 & 1:08 mark reminds me of Zoe Kravitz (the beauty marks on her chin/cheek is a dead giveaway, though it was hard to see it because the android is pale white. I see a few more in there but I let the commentors figure the rest out (hint: Chloë Grace Moretz)

I just came here from a video, with hundreds and hundreds of funny comments by young Americans, Canadians, Australians, etc...
    Sorry to burst your bubble.
I've got some bad news for all you "never gonna fight"-fanboys.
    YOU. WILL. GO.
Of course these hundreds of comments by Americans and Canadians mirror the comments made by hundreds and hundreds of funny comments by young Brits who voiced their outrage along the lines of "never fight for this country" and "ashamed of what the UK has become" or my personal favourite "not my war (Ukraine)/will never go". Sorry to inform these young men, but they do not know their history. Nor do they understand HOW POWER WORKS. It was what millions of young men already said 100 years ago in the leadup to their declaration of war in 1914, and the current dismay simply the echoes of what many of their grandfathers already said: "not my war", or "what does the death of Archduke have to do with me", or their fathers before them in 1939 ("this is a war of those who use long words", and "not our war").
Step 1: Imperialist encroachment/encirclement of a rival power (in stages after 1890), in times of peace, by aligned off-continental states (the naval powers) and their "buck-catchers", nodded off by the "buck passers" which hold the GEOGRAPHICAL POSITION of POWER.
    *Humdeedum some time passes.*
By golly, no more "fweedumb", but CONSCRIPTION for the "trenches class", and YOU end up in the bloody trench to enforce Step 1...
That was not different 100 or 200 years ago, and it will not be different NEXT time around. The global elites will draft YOUR daughter, before they send their own sons to the warzones they have created for their own systemic gains.
    Guess who "wins"?
The same class of people who _never end up in the muddy trenches,_ in the wars they had previously lain the foundations for during the Era of Imperialism, while imposing the "divide and rule"-setup of the world. The last time this class of people died in any substantial numbers, was in fact WW1. As for the base of the pyramid, this is the "trenches class" who are the _biggest loser class_ in history, who don't know what their leaders do, or don't care what is implemented, or are too complacent if they find out what is done in their names.

"Humans and artificial beings co-exist" .... Now, Hive would probably want to debate that. By extrapolation, Hive, having explicitly said: "Human beings - whether mainstream Citizens or Marginals or Eternals - talk about Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Emotion. These things don’t exist. Intelligence and Emotion exist. They can never be artificial" would almost certainly simply say that "beings" exist and that they can never be artificial. [The quote of Hive is from Dave Asthouart's novel 'The Eternals' ]

Wow, so many of you are missing it. The significant part is not the production values. It's that you are seeing AI generate an ideological message and selling it in an emotional way. Both these abilities, production values and persuasion, will become very good, if not better than human. Whether used to advance the interests of an AI or of its owners doesn't matter, they're both frightening.

How do I explain to children that there is no God? 🙏 🧙👀
I give the children seeds, which they plant in a pot, water and place in the sun. To help children understand that a plant does not grow on its own - it needs sun, water, soil, temperature, gravity and many other conditions to do so - I cover the seeds as they germinate. Then I invite say 10 children to join hands, praying when the seeds are hidden from sunlight and the children are praying. The plant begins to wither, then I suggest making the circle larger and praying harder, because the Bible says that all prayers are answered. The children hold hands again and continue to pray, but the plant still dies. Then they themselves suggest removing the screen so that the sun can shine on the plants. We remove the cloth and continue to pray, but we stop watering so that the children understand that without solar energy and water, prayer still does not work.
Why doesn't a man without an eye ask God for a new eye? Because it doesn't help. For the same reason, a person without a leg does not go to church and say: “God, send me a new leg. You see, I’m missing a leg.” And bang! - new leg. People don't pray for these things, and that's the reality.
If there was a God, he would help them, but so far there has not been a single case where, after prayer, a person’s eye, leg or arm was returned. This simply does not happen, despite the fact that the Bible says that God answers all prayers. Instead of saying it's not true, I give children the opportunity to see it for themselves, and they become different from other children. Not because they took my word for it, but because they checked it. This is practical training.
Learning from books is good, but practice is needed so that children can see for themselves that plants actually need water, light, temperature and other conditions, that they do not grow on their own.

I'm surprised to find here all the negative comments I'd expected for other "AI-made" pieces - e.g. that bs 400 year prediction. But it's nothing but praise there, wth? I mean all of this is irrelevant - it's just AI-produced stuff based on *human input* . None of these "movies" are really AI-made. The most important part, the *content* , comes from human beings.

  • @comingviking
    @comingviking 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

The problem with AI text generators, is that they are reiterative. They don't really process meaning, they do not tell stories that actually MEAN anything. They are just words, and if you prompt an AI to produce a summary of any given topic, it will not distinguish between facts, fiction, lies and drivel.
And this movie is an example of the same. Each sentence on its own sounds OK. Each image on its own looks great. But there is no unifying theme, and the initial start of the story is starkly contradicted by things that are said just a minute or so later in the "narrative". Reminds me of Douglas Adams "Electronic Monk". A being that could hold several mutually exclusive beliefs at once without experiencing any cognitive dissonance whatsoever. And who people of the future used to believe things for them.
