The book alone was the best thing ever, nice one man. Say, you do remember when I once asked that if you could upload the dark Chateau soundtrack from Bon Voyage Charlie Brown? forgive me for asking, but I've been waiting for it to come one day, if you're busy with other projects, its cool, though hopefully one day, it can be done :)
Whoops, sorry - I've been right in the thick of my last pre-university exams. XP I'll try and get that done soon for you though, they're nearly over. ;-)
I was going to send this as a PM but TH-cam's PMing system is *awful* so I thought I'd put it here where you're more likely to see it. I have a request if I may. There's a piece of music used in the 90s TV show 'Sooty & Co' that's used as a sort of theme for the campervan which I quite like. A channel called lisaglitters has uploaded the first series with decent quality audio. The full version of the theme can be heard in the episode 'Camping out' from 14:01. Several short clips of it are used in the episode 'Canal Capers'. Could I possibly request a complete instrumental version. I've tried to have a go myself but I don't quite have the same skill that you have! ^^;
@MKtheinstrumentalist XD XD you got me. LOL, I was looking forward to it, I've been working on a piano cover for it and I was hoping you had it. Which language version did you source this version from? Croatian or the French?
Hmm, what process do you do for your restoration? Particularly for sections that are mono? Most of the tracks I have found for TLETC are vocals right and songs left. But mixing that for stereo hasn't gone well. Any advice?
Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, I used the french dub for the stereo bits. I admit I haven't quite found a good enough stereo source to reliably remove the vocals off, so most of the mono bits are either fudged with panning and reverb or will stay mono for the foreseeable future. XP If I may ask though, you seem to imply that you've found more than once source for the mono dubbing track, would you mind telling me where I could find them?
Ah, good. I was wondering how you were making miracles with the stereo XD I had considered taking the dub I had for the beginning, adding a reverb to add the illusion of stereo, then when the dialogue stops I would switch back to the English dub, I'm grateful to see there is someone else that cares about "remastering" this soundtrack. Problem is that the PAL and the NTCS are pitched slightly different, and while I had made progress on finishing the tracks, I hadn't been bothered to sync them up perfectly and pitch them. The only dub I have located with vocals on a completely distinct channel is the Croatian, if you know of any others I would love to know, maybe the two mixed together would be the ticket XD. I have a perfect version of "Nothing Can Stop Us Now" without vocals, just wanted to touch it up a hair more before I upload it, what software do you use? I have been sticking with Audacity.. I'm really excited to see what you upload, I'm impressed with the variety of restoration you have done, certainly have earned a subscriber.
Aww, thanks mate! I actually have tried to avoid using the english dub for most of the restoration, mainly because the SFX is _much_ louder compared to the music than in the french dub, and because my english rip has the channels' volume imbalanced so the proper panning is all out of whack. I use Audacity, iZotope RX, and a small, rare, and _incredibly_ useful little .exe called Center_Gut_GUI. ;-) Have you been able to find a dub with completely center-panned vocals? All the ones I've found leave extremely large amounts of artefacts clearly audible if you so much as _look_ at it with Vocal Removal. XD
Very sad that not one person can create a proper S2 repairs theme. Sudrian Afro's theme is decent, but definitely not perfect. If there was anything I wish you could do, it would be that. But hey, that's just my opinion. You do what you want
I second that! That is, if it's the same one played at the beginning of Better Late Than Never and some other episodes from the season. I found one that was pretty close, but I bet MK could do it better.
Madagascar the bad guys and shrek 3 great adventure the musical music soundtrack
Oh God, I really love this music and I was enjoying it until the singing started XD Well done, I hope we'll have the actual one pretty soon!
I ACTUALLY LIKED THIS

I think... I think it was either the Bosnian or the Romanian, actually.
