always appreciate how max makes no excuses. on that night, volk was beating any 145er in front of him. he was so freaking fast, i think that's the biggest difference between the 2nd and 3rd fights. it was like he was sped up 1.25x. it's a naturally tough matchup for max, but i think 4th time would be the charm!
Max had a very strick Quarentine here in Hawaii due to Covid. We had the most restrictions in the entire Country here. For that fight he couldn't spar or even lift weights, couldn'tmeet up with his coaches in person. We here couldn't go to the gym or even meet up with friends. His entire camp was in Zoom. That's why he didn't perform well.

Max is da true goat 🐐. Should’ve never lost his belt to Volk. Robbed. Volk should have never been champ. Never would have needed a 3rd fight because Max won the first two. Volk was an imposter who eventually got what he had coming, obliteration. Volk headbutted his way to wins. Yair being a major victim of the illegal headbutt. Max vs Yair was the true champions fight and one of the greatest UFC fights of all time.

Max is super humble. For the 3rd Volk fight bc of Covid he couldn't train. Here in Hawaii we had the most restrictive Quarentine in the entire Country. Max wasn't able to spar or even go to the gym.
