As a guy who play this game since 4 years old, the Only 2 characters that make this game a real pain in the gut where Mr. Big and Mr. Karate, but there is a way to beat them by stun them, Mr. Big recquires only a jumping front kick and then duck and keep it that way, and Mr. Karate a regular fire but Mr. Karate must cover that fireball and then as like Mr. Big just duck the entire round
Yes that is correct! I am still playing AOF on my emulator and I know that this boss is pretty hard to defeat. I will upload a match soon, so I try my best ;)

On Neo Geo you have to play against the cpu until you arrive to mr karate.... than you have to be beaten and now you can choose on 2 player mode mr karate :)

Well, I read on the internet that you have to be beaten by him and after that the "game over" screen must appear (doesnt matter if you have any credits). Now choose 2 player mode and than you can choose him. You can NOT choose him, when your playing the story mode

You need to do the exact command not sloppy command like Street Fighter. But yes Dragon Punch is not easy in this game but i can do it alnog with all other moves and super moves and hidden super moves.

This is definitely the CD version -- SNK sound effects are the best, seriously. They are so brutal and so great! And musics are just amazing.
