  • With my friend Roger, we ride our bicycles from Abri to Kerma, across the ancient kingdom of Kush. It's extremely hot... riding across the Sahara is an incredible challenge.

I saw the difference between the Sudanese people and the Egyptian people. In the Sudanese, they do not ask you for anything, and they do not force you to buy anything. Even children, if you give them money, they refuse. This is their upbringing, and I respect it very much. I saw a child who gave you a bottle of water. This is beautiful.

that was a surprise to me, I thought Sudanese people are like hardcore Egyptians, I guess that's because internationally they have a lot of pressure to prove they are part of the Arab society but in their homeland they feel calm and relax

@@ItayAI Sudan is a big country in the past. It was the largest country in Africa before the secession of the south. They have different cultures, for example, in the north and east, their culture is Arab, because they were mistaken for Arabs when entering the Islamic religion. In the west and south, they are Sudanese of black origin. They have more than 37 languages, and the Arabic language is First, all the people speak Arabic

Yves, I must say that your positivity and openness really knows no bounds and it is wonderful to see. Despite all the demanding situations, unknowns and cultural differences (which are sometimes astonishing to Westerners) that you come across in your adventure, you have never said anything negative about the countries and people and regions you pass through. This is how a true researcher and a reasonable person who accepts and understands the diversity that exists on the mother planet is positioned. This is one of the main reasons why I enjoy following your adventures, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on that and let's move forward to new distances. All reasonable and positive people follow and support you, thank you brother!

I started watching your videos from the Egypt playlsit. I spent the last year in Kenya and got married to my wife there in January. Fell in love with the country. Your videos are amazing and I can't wait to get current with your episodes and see your adventures in Kenya. I loved what you had to say in the wrap up of the Egypt playlist about how travelling quickly you don't get to experience the cultures by the same rules and in the same way as living it. I couldn't agree with you mpre. Youre videos are incredible and I am so greatful for your content.

They are incredibly durable and extremely puncture resistant. I wouldn't recommend anything less on a tour... flats are a pain.. for me a rear flat with with a Rohloff would be too heavy for me to change myself.. ie: stranded.
