In this video I'm showing you how to form, pour, and broom finish a concrete patio.
This concrete patio slab is the main entrance to this home. I had to attach forms to the frost wall using tapcon screws. Then we attached another form on the outside of that form to overhang the concrete wall by 1.5 inches.
We used 4000 psi concrete with fibermesh to pour the concrete patio. Then after the concrete set up a bit, I mag floated it, cut in my grooves and edged the patio slab.
The final finish was broomed right after I mag floated the surface a second time, then the final grooving and edging was done to complete the picture frame look.
