Amelia Dainz i don’t know alot but that horse is not your regular uncle horse that’s the uncle of my horse (brother of the father of my horse) this is the ayal best horse here in Israel he is always number 1 in those Beauty Contests thing he is 12 years old now nobody ever or ever will ride him to keep his back straight And he is not trained by normal guys He was trained by highly skilled trainers
well bred Arabians are a thing of beauty. I was lucky years ago to get one from a well known ranch in Scottsdale AZ. they were selling off geldings and some stud colts as they had too many stud colts born for two years in a row. His name was Kar-Farad and he was gorgeous. I have only had quarter horses and I found out quickly that the Arabian horse is vastly different in a lot of ways. I had bit off more than I could handle and only kept him about six months and realized I did not have what it would take to make him into a safe ride. I sold him to someone I knew locally so I did get to see him full grown and properly trained. Gorgeous and hot blooded but with the right trainer he was all that he could be.

It's nice to see an Arabian bred for a normal back line and not the flat, weak back lines they are bred for conformation shows in the USA. Also I have owned a number of Arabian, Morgan and Paint stallions. I never needed a whip to signal or control them in the show ring. I only used a buggy whip when doing hand breeding to signal them and protect them from the mare. All my stallions paid attention to my hand signals alone once fully trained. We partnered with all our horses. It works so much better.
Do you guys see how uncomfortable that horse looks??! He should also only use his whip for directional purposes, who holds their whip like that for direction?? His just basically using the whip and chasing the horse around. Well I guess most people watching aren't equestrians

Savagecat 96 I am an Arabian rider and most of the halter horses are not like this and in this at some points the guy does a method called shanking which is 100% unnecessary! I know plenty of halter Arabs that are not treated like this or are this uncomfortable

Stunning Arab unlike the very exaggerated ones you see now but that horse is extremely stressed out and being yanked around no need for it train with positive methods and the horse will happily do as you as no need to wave a whip in its face and drag it around

I loved watching this gorgeous horse until 1:48 when the "handler" jerked his head for the first time. I read here it's called shanking. Well, it looks like animal abuse to me. And to do it while threatening the horse by holding the whip over his shoulder like he could strike at any minute? No wonder the horse tries to jerk his head away - he's frightened!! And who's not to say the "handler" doesn't actually use the whip in training where there are no cameras?
I ride Arabians (not mine) and they are true Arabians. They did something to that horse and Al Ay Al AA is so uncomfortable. In my opinion (fact also) that is animal cruelty/ abuse. What’s wrong with these people!?!?

The horse does indeed look quite uncomfortable and it almost seems as he's a bit scared of the whip. He flinched so often when the handler raised it. I think what's animal abuse about Arabian horse breeding is that many breeders breed for the hideous concave profile. This poor horse is ALMOST a very good example for that horrific act of extreme selection to breed the "perfect-looking animal". Quite sad to see that many people don't even realize that. And even worse is that many people don't think about the massive health problems that these poor animals have to suffer under. We do live in a selfish world. :(

The handler looks scared of the stud (1:33). Also if you have to snap the stud chain to get him to stand you shouldn't be in the ring with him. When I showed horses they judged us as well as the horse. Behaving like that would have gotten me tossed out of the ring and told not to come back until i could handle a horse properly

I ride Arabians (not mine) and they are true Arabians. They did something to that horse and Al Ay Al AA is so uncomfortable. In my opinion (fact also) that is animal cruelty/ abuse. What’s wrong with these people!?!?

The horse does indeed look quite uncomfortable and it almost seems as he's a bit scared of the whip. He flinched so often when the handler raised it.
I think what's animal abuse about Arabian horse breeding is that many breeders breed for the hideous concave profile. This poor horse is ALMOST a very good example for that horrific act of extreme selection to breed the "perfect-looking animal". Quite sad to see that many people don't even realize that. And even worse is that many people don't think about the massive health problems that these poor animals have to suffer under. We do live in a selfish world. :(

The handler looks scared of the stud (1:33). Also if you have to snap the stud chain to get him to stand you shouldn't be in the ring with him. When I showed horses they judged us as well as the horse. Behaving like that would have gotten me tossed out of the ring and told not to come back until i could handle a horse properly
