Hi Joanne you are a treasure. I was drawing my line a lot higher up in the arm's eye. Got some more fabric eager to try again x

Great tutorial, thank you. Any advice for making a very large FBA adding 5 cm? The result is a very large dart and sometimes a shart angle on the armsyce. How can I make the dart less bulky please?

Great easy to follow tutorial, thanks Jo. Is there a way to find precisely where the apex is? How do you know how much to add? ❤

You can pin the pattern together and try it on. You will see how to much to add by how much far away the centre front is adrift, tissue patterns are easier. You can also check the finished garment measurements or compare your bust measurements to the flat pattern pieces allowing for seam allowances.

Hi, I love your tutorials. I have UB 42" but FB 52", I have been buying patterns with a 'D' cup option but still have to do a 3" FBA, which leaves an enormous dart that does not look good when sewn up. I have tried the Y FBA but this leaves the top chest too wide. I cannot work out to split the dart or maybe move some of the dart volume elsewhere. Would you consider doing a tutorial but ladies such as myself who struggle with fitting the girls?

😊 BUT AS MY BUST DART IS NOW LOWER, AND IN THE COOECT PLACE I HAVE SPARE FABRIC ABOVE THE BUST. HOW DO I get rid of that.
