Hi. What's your plan on getting more usable travel? Is it to move the linear rails back?

I do have similar DIY CNC build like your's, using open-loop nema 34 12Nm with DM860H driver + 48 volt 7.5A power supply (for every single stepper driver, need 1 power supply, don't share power supply). Run @ 5000 - 6000 mm/min easley.
But since I was just used 20mm ball screw for all axis, It's makes wobbling a lot when run on higher speed, specialty at the longest axis one.
so in order to avoid that I just run "safely" at below 5000 mm/min, until I get bigger ball screw replacement, at least 35mm diameter for the longest axis one.

Y por que no usas transaccion por pinion y cremallera. You can run over than 8000 without problem

@@ouroboros5378 The main reason I'm using ballscrew is, because I want to make a small parts too, I mean really small, for used on EDM machine, most parts is made from coper and graphite, about around 2cm wide, with 0.03mm ~ 0.06mm tolerant, I've used pinion rack system before and it is not quet good for getting tolerance on small part. (currenly there is no high qualtiy pinion rack sell in my country, so can't achieve that miminum requrment tolerant)

Is it the same machine you built one year ago ?

For speed you have to play with settings in motor controller steps per revolution and software. You also have to check for torque more speed equals less torque and loss of steps. Also more steps per revolutuion = less torque. Tb6600 drivers are no good for your application use 3-4 amps at 34 v . If you can stall about 18-20 lbs. From side movevment is all you need. Or enough to break an end mill from lateral pressure. If you can break a 1/4" end mill or whatever size thickness your sindle can handle should be your goal. If a1/4 breaks at 15 lbs. Of side pressure you dont need your stepper motors operating at 30 lbs. Before skipping steps. The motors can take heat as long as you can hold them they will function normally. You can cook eggs on them and they will be fine. As long as you can hold them without pulling away is a good rule of thumb most are designed this way.
