Absolutely the best female led farming videos. No images of lady curves etc that other channels think will improve ratings. Nichola is the real deal. Intelligence, interesting, informative, exceptionally hard working and a real ambassador for the hill farming industry. She is a real credit to her Father and her late Mother. I especially enjoy the cattle content as this is my area of interest. May your family enterprise go from strength to strength.
Great video Nicola ! You always manage to share and describe your workloads and processes perfectly! Without getting political- I sincerely Hope Westminster and all necessary MP’s wake up-soon to the realisation that all farming types require the correct support . Your farm which you showcase perfectly through your social media is a ( in my eyes) a fantastic example of UK farming which has an incredible history . Keep up the great work and please keep smiling!😊
Nicola . I think its safe to say everyone who follows your social media has the utmost respect for you your livestock and colleagues. You could post 24/7 dnd the video content would be enjoyable!👍 Have a great week 😊
Enjoyed the video. Even though I am not a farmer I certainly appreciate the hard work that farmers put in for the benefit of the overall population. It seems to me that you have a wonderful dog to help you. It seems to enjoy it's work as well. Cheers
Wow you have had a lot of snow brings so much hardship Nicola you must be exhausted take a break when you can the winter is so long videos are never boring thanks for taking the time to show so much when you are so busy till the next time 😊

Who did you blame for running out of petrol? I think I would be doing what someone else suggested and take a bale up on the loader to save a trip. Not bored yet. Still good videos 👍
It's a shame you don't have a mobile sheep crush and handling pens set up, that could be taken to the field, where the sheep are, rather than always having to bring them indoors to attend to them. Less lameness due to running all that distance, less stress through being chased by the dogs and thirdly, reducing likelihood of 'pitching' (aborting) lambs through stress of again being chased by the dog, whilst in the later stages of pregnancy.
James I don’t think they were coming all the way back to the farm they were coming into buildings out on the hill Nichola has old buildings dotted around that they have maintained and kept the roofs on them for this purpose she will correct me if I am wrong probably am but that’s how it looks to be
Thank you for your comment, these old buildings are spaced throughout the farm with the ewes in fields close by to save running them to far. I agree with reducing stress as much as possible but if the buildings are there, I’ll use them 😊

First
Is that the biggest tractor you've got? A bigger one would have more weight make it easier & safer for you
Thank you, a bigger tractor would be nice. But the price of it, not so much 😊
