I understand Damon's point but it gives me similar vibes to when Barbara told one girl that she's not working hard enough because she gets financial support from her dad. Just because you have something going on doesn't mean that you should be withheld the opportunity from chasing more in this format. Dude is actually the best shark, he is just so direct when talking about money that it can come off as mean.
I think it was a good investment on Robert’s part. I don’t really see them becoming a heavy hitter in the makeup industry, but I do see them being bought out by a bigger company.

Yeah usually if you aren’t a big brand, they have the leverage in negotiations. They either have a consignment deal or some kind of deferred payment plan. Either way they aren’t getting their money right away while already having spent money on producing and shipping the products out.

Damon is a bit of a hypocrite. Says he rather invests in smaller companies that need help but from a lot of shark tank episodes I watched, he refuses to invest in these 'small companies that need help' because he thinks he won't get a return, or ends up asking for such a large piece of the company that the deal doesn't make sense for the entrepreneurs.

Yeah usually if you aren’t a big brand, they have the leverage in negotiations. They either have a consignment deal or some kind of deferred payment plan. Either way they aren’t getting their money right away while already having spent money on producing and shipping the products out.
