It goes back to the conversation she had with Tanjiro and how her late sister wished for her to better understand demons, not all are pure evil. She was glad Tanjiro shares her sisters compassion even though she herself can't move past the hatred. Explains her reaction in this episode.

I had the exact same thought as you "what if getting that demon's crest turns you into a demon" because the one common thing between Tanjiro, Tokito, and Kanroji were that they were angry - like really angry- when it manifested. Remember Tanjiro in S2 how his face changed it just made my heart sink thinking about it. Plus, it would make sense because the "swordsman who drove Muzan into a corner" is, at least is implied to be, Upper 1.... So if Upper 1 became a demon because muzan can do something to/with the demon's crest when it manifests... could spell big trouble.
I was so happy to finally understand Giyu after this episode and am just excited to see him put more effort & more bonding moments of his. I 💙 Giyu so much!!

I think the reason for shinobo's reaction and how she was feeling is more from the fact that the master wants her to work with a demon. They havent told you who killed her sister yet but you have seen them thats all i will say for that. In first season, when Lady Tamayo met tanjiro, she sad to him, that she was able to free herself from Muzan´s control after Yoriichi almost defeat Muzan. She told Tanjiro, that she was forced by muzan, to follow him everywhere, and obey his commands, until Yoriichi weakened Muzan enough, that she was able to release herself from him.
they don't explain it here but Tanjiro sends a ton of letters to everyone all the time including the boss that's why he is aware of Tomioka refusing to join the training. Tanjiro sending letters keeping in touch with everyone Rengoku's family even that is one of my favorite things about him.

I'm having trouble figuring out which one is the big sis and which one is the little sis. The one on the left seems like the little sis with how excitable she is but sometimes the older siblings have trouble containing their energy around their young siblings. The one on the right seems like the big sister because of her more calm vibe but she could just be more shy compared to the sister on the left and younger sisters generally tend to be shy. 😂

It's sad in the sense that "when you lose someone important, you can't even fight." Even fights can feel endearing. Maybe that's true.
Giyu says the only one who died in Final Selection that year was Sabito, but from season 1 episode 2 we know that Makomo was there too, and she was also killed, by the same demon. So that's either a translation issue, or a continuity error. 👀🤔

Hi, NONE of this is a spoiler since i havent read anything of the manga, NOT A SPOILER but imagine that the demon that killed Kocho's sister is none other than Lady Tamayo before she got rid of muzan control... this highly unlikely because of the time periods but would be a interesting twist, the more obvious choice is 1 of the remaining upper 3 but probably not Akaza since he should face Tanjiro and we will go full circle avenging Kyojuro Rengoku "The Hero" like you said. Anyway I have my coins on one already =).
From what I've gathered reading comments, their discord peeps told them that AoT has spoilers in the OPs and EDs and they're better avoided until the end of the series. I've only watched their AoT, OP, and DS stuff though, so I cannot say if it goes beyond spoiler reasons.

I'd be really interested in seeing y'alls reaction to Everything Everywhere All At Once since that movie has a really good narrative both emotionally and story-wise. Also because its just fun seeing how reactors interpret the movie. makomo was not there the same year, she also died by the hand demon but a different final selection.......
