This song reduced me to tears before but after Gary Barlow lost his daughter Poppy it means so much more. Our thoughts are with Gary and his family. R.I.P Poppy Barlow
GARY BARLOW IS A LEGEND :D Well done to the kids and adults forming their groups and Well Done to the military wives for keeping strong through the thought of their husbands being away at war xxx
All these kids have never sung before, they're brill! Well done all of these children who have come together and learnt eachothers talents... Most of them are singing! I think this should be Number 1 forever x♥
Most other countries would think that none of us listen to this but it is deeply respected by us for example in my high school in music and dance you can hear this song being played.
Gary Barlow is just pure amazing. he is such a great role model and helped them children to find their confidence and what they truly enjoy. i respect him so much!
Thank you for the beautiful moments of peace you have offered to the world. A big hug to all of you, and congratulations for having an awesome Queen too ^^
Really powerful and emotional song, the little girl at the start and end is amazing. Hope this makes no.1 in the UK music charts. Gary and Sir ALW have done an amazing job getting this all together and it really is a celebration in song. Thank you for making it so special
Every day things like this make me love the power of music to affect people and change lives more and more....What an honour for Gary B to be able to visit and sing with all this people around the world and the highlight had to be him being allowed to sing and play with the military wives ladies... :-)
I love how Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunnipingu appears in this video. One of the most influential and underrated artists of our time IMO. Great song this too, very good.
Dislikes? really? how can you dislike? it is a beautiful song about people from all forms of life singing together for the Queen's diamond jubilee(a diamond jubilee has only happened once before??!!)
Does it mean I'm over-emotional if I cry ever time I listen to this song... it mainly happens because of the young girls voice and the poor blind guy from australia comes on singing it all comes together beautifully. If I were the Queen I'd be crying happy tears and smiling with thanks to every single person who took part xx God bless you Gary! You have the biggest heart I've ever known xx But then again I don't know a lot of people haha xx
completly agree even if it's not the same song this speack to each of us It say we should walk together than walk alone. it says be proud of where you come from. You're important . and also says the we can make huge things together than alone. So Sing and carry one throught out your problem and someone will help you. For me it's so amazing to see how people from different background can unite together to celebrate the glory of the Queen. Good job England you can be proud.
This song is absolute Heaven to my ears. Hearing every different Voice, Instrument and Note is what makes a song more than a song. It makes a stepping stone to your Soul.
This song is truly awesome! I watched the documentary about the background to it and was deeply moved by the way in which Gary Barlow interacted with the groups he met on his travels. Seeing the joy of those children and listening to the innate wisdom of Michael from Slum Drummers when he talked about making the most of what we have was extraordinary. Watching them on the stage at the Diamond Jubilee Concert one can only imagine how proud they felt being part of such an enormous event
maybe the saddos who dislike this should dig deep and give somethin back to those who need it love the song mr barlow well done for gettin all this together oh and lets not forget gareth and sir andrew too the little girl is awesome as are the wives lets hope it gets to where this song belongs
Wunderschönes Video. Da geht mein Herz auf.. Die Mannschaft ist der Star, und wir alle sind die Mannschaft und sie heißt unsere Welt. Dank an die BBC für dieses Video.
Heard this on Radio on Friday. So glad to find the video. What a wonderful testament to the Commonwealth and a worthy tribute for teh Queen's Silver Jubilee.
Love this song and everything it is about. Helps everyone realize that despite how the British and I suppose world wide media portray this earth, not all news is bad news and when people come together and with genuine, good intentions, things like this can happen.
I think this is one of my favourite songs ever-to see so many people to come together for one reason and make something as beautiful as this-makes me feel very proud!
Fantastic! Goosebumps, tears, the lot! Carrying on from this it would be nice to similar projects that include commonwealth countries like India, the Americas and Asia (Britain/Malaysia)
Such a beautiful moving song. It made chills run down my spine and nearly brought tears to my eyes. Congratulations to all involved in recording this magnificent song.
I love this song sooooo much! its amazing&especially when it brings all the nations together :) I also love all their singing, especially the little girl's singing
Absolutely a brilliant song gives me goosebumps every time i hear it just seems to touch the soul, and warm you up inside brilliant Gary for bringing everyone together you are a credit to your profession, and the military wife's just amazing again well done ladies.
Gary Barlow is such an amazing man for bringing everyone together and giving people the oppurtunity to do this, once in a lifetime thing. I think people need to recognise that if we all come to together and do just what this one man did on his own, we'd live in a better place. I agree that this should open the olympics because I think it speaks for everybody all over the world. The little girl in this is adorable. Everybody in this video should be proud along with Gary and Mr Webber xxxxx
Simply awesome! Watched entire documentary and deeply moved by Gary Barlow's amazing interaction with the groups he recorded along the way. Seeing the joy of the children and hearing the innate wisdom of Michael from Slum Drummers on making the most of life, however difficult, was extraordinary! Can only imagine their feelings on stage at the Concert - a lifelong memory of being part of such a global event must positively shape their futures. Music is indeed universal language open to all!
wow that little girl at the beginning is amazing. She has a better voice than the singers around today. Get her a recording contract.
