- Twister has reopened at Six Flags Great Adventure following some maintenance and upgrades. The ride now sports a more exciting cycle and some cool lighting effects. At night, a heartbeat pounds through the speakers as the strobes flash for the upside-down finale.

This ride is truely awesome, and the line was very short.
The line is like the most shortest intense ride in the park!
It’s so funny when they face the other way upside down and they are like muted and when it flips you hear the screams. 😂 Also I love this ride even though it’s a little old and isn’t the most smoothest thing.
Hey Austin. I went on this ride in 2018. I have never been on it since. I had went on El Diablo and got desensitized to the hangtime. It was a spur of the moment. I hate hangtime except for Cyborg Cyber Spin. I did do Joker at SFNE, but that's because I wanted to do all the credits.
Anyway, I was at GAdv on the 13th and shot a vlog there. I was there at the same time Coliwood Studios was.
its closed now, i think they realized how dangerous this thing really is.

LOL this is my FAVORITE ride to watch others get on (before me) because of all the phones and hats etc falling off, so tragically awesome.

That ending is so intense! But it was surprisingly fun!

The Nitro drop is the best. I've rode on everything more than once including Drop of Doom but the Nitro first drop always gives me the feel like I went on it for the very first time. Hearing people's reactions is the best though.

to GA because there coaster collection is great but of all the flat rides this looks to be the best next to the slingshot and daredevil dive but both are paid for tho

This ride once caught fire on the boardwalk lights exposed wiring once while it was in operation, while I was an operator for this park. Got everyone off safely. Ride was closed for months for renovation.

I used to work this ride in college. Made about $250 per day picking up pocket change under the ride. Paid for my degree. Now I sit at a desk all day and make about $250 per day.

This is a great ride but being small is scary because when it goes upside down, you hit the bars that hold you.
It does not make u dizzy it is so fun it’s the first ride I got in when I went there it does not make u dizzy at all
Were they having problems with this ride again, because I rode this on july 5th and there was only two inversions and the Ride was over. Great video though :)

Matt Kaiser yeah rides like this one are notorious for breaking down due to the amount of stress that is put on it. Which is why I was surprised that this video shows it doing 7 inversions. No way twister could Handel that lol

Maintenance at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom tried to do this to VooDoo... Let's just say they kinda toasted the ride... It's been closed for well over a year now.
