Fifteen years later and I still return to these albums because not much else comes close - Burzum does obviously tho - to Abyssic Hate! Need this dark pounding beauty sometimes! X
@user-cz2bm5vs7zsilencer is equal in my opinion however only when comparing suicidal emotions with death pierce me, abyssic hate was just so much more revolutionary with depressive melodicism, aesthetics and themes. But I must credit cassado and Nilsson for being one of the few in black metal to represent accute psychosis and suicidality, it's just much more scary and therefore less enjoyable than abyssic hate but both are not the peak of honesty, which I believe to be trist and hypothermia
I first found out about this band when I randomly received a patch in the post of them (it was a buy 4 get 1 free deal and I only chose 3) so I looked them up. Certainly didn't regret that! AWESOME band!!! \m/ Hail!
