Honestly it's nice to see a Flash figure with two running hands instead of one and the fist.
Brad, you certainly don’t sugar coat these reviews. That’s what we viewers appreciate.
This is a pretty good wave. Not amazing, not awful, but, pretty good. If you see them and go, "I want it", then yeah, you want it. If you're not sold, very skippable.
I always thought it looks weird how Flash ran too. I agree, that it looks like he is perpetually tripping forward when he runs. I can not un-see that now. LOL. Great review!
You could have squeezed a ton of videos out of this. Respect that you don't do things like other TH-camrs
McFarlane spends so much time focusing on textures and tiny details in the sculpt that he forgets to make their proportions look human. They are continually shaped very poorly. There are only a handful of DCM figures that have decent proportions. Im happy to see the ankle hinge and pivot on cyborg though. I hope he will implement that on more figures because he really can't do ball hinge ankles very well. He keeps putting detents in them so they only have a couple positions that they will stay in and it make standing them difficult. Im very critical of McFarlane but its because I love dc and I feel like the line has a lot of potential that could be reached easily.
I understand the need for more paint details, but you can get all 4 of these figures for the almost the same price of one MAFEX, Mezco, SH figuarts.
I think these are all great. Only issue I had was Darkseid not having ankle pivot. Steppenwolf and flash are amazing.
Great review! Pre-ordered the whole set from Walmart who cancelled my Superman & Batman and I had to order them from somewhere else (thanks Walmart smh). So i'm waiting till Supes & Bats come in the mail before I open mine. A little annoyed i'm gonna have to heat up Aquaman's hand to hold the trident. I love that Flash, looks like he'll be fun to pose (I know some people weren't fans of that costume but I always liked it). Part of me wishes he'd gone for a duller red to give it the vibe of Zack Snyder's color grading.
I actually really like the Flash figure. Gets into all the speed positions I would mainly want to pose him in. The only issue I have is the scale--if it was just a little smaller it would be comparable to the DC Collectibles CW Flash figure and I could have them reenact their meeting.
Aquaman looks like Jesus and Drew McIntyre from WWE
I hope they restock blue and red superman, I had to get the black one because it's so hard to find
I think Aquaman's hair needed some highlighted tips just to make it look less like a melted bit of plastic.
Wow... aquamans head is sculpted decently but why the hell is his hair black. McFarlane truly baffles me with so many of their decisions
I’m going to have to give these figures a straight on past tbh I would have liked to see more accessories with them but awesome review keep up the fun videos

I'm a fan of about 90% of the McFarlane DC Multiverse having said that the 10% have been the movie figures then I'm not entirely ecstatic about
I will stick to comic versions i think. Batman and cyborg look quite cool though. Unless they start the face scan printing like hasbro, the movie figure heads will always look abit off

Just like his character, the figure is so underrated. Incredible sculpt from head to toe. The only flaw is the red paint on his chest. Other than that it looks really good.

They're way better than the Mattel versions they did when the Josstice League came out. My only complaint about them is releasing the goggles version of Batman as the main figure and making the goggles up version the chase... not too happy with that. I REALLY hope Todd is paying attention to videos and comments, like this, and does a Snyder JL Wonder Woman that actually looks like Gal, and the original Batsuit version. AND, I wouldn't mind some human figures in these lines to compliment the heroes: Jim Gordon, Alfred, Diana (street clothes), Arthur Curry, Lois Lane, Clark Kent, Martha Kent, Lex Luthor, along with some expanded heroes, Mera, Hypolita, Zeus, Ares, Desaad and some Parademons.

Flash figure is the best I've seen however the black parts on his chest looks like pug dogs face.

I had Superman, Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman shipped to me from Walmart and I was going to get Batman from Target but they cancelled my order for some reason, even though I already paid for shipping and the figure itself. But anyways I've paired those 4 with the WW 84 regular suit Wonder Woman and I almost have the league. Just need Batman

I’m 3D printing a neck peg so I can fit the mezco tactical Batman head on this one. Luckily I work in additive manufacturing so it’s easy to print high quality parts.

In the Uk we've had these pushed back again to late September. I've been so excited for them all year but I really hope the wait was worth it. However, the quality control and some of the paint doesn't look too good....
I got them like a week and a half ago. I like them. Way better than their mattel counterparts lol
I know they are only 20 bucks but is it me or are some getting a bit cheaper paint apps quality, construction!

Just got my black suit superman in the mail just today, hopefully i can get the rest of the set.
Will you being doing a video in the future of what you would like improved in the line? Coming up on two years with Mcfarlane holding the license and havent seen improvements overall like the small changes made throughout year 1. Tops for me is better range of motion including on the bafs. No one needs to have to mod the diaphragm in order to bend more or making thigh cuts. Two is more females in the line and making sure figs are appropriate sized.
At the end of the video you have WW with a sword and shield....where'd those come from?

Why can't McFarlane make a dc multiverse figure that can crunch forward. Thankfully they are easy to dremel out and add articulation too but you shouldn't have to do that
It would be the easiest fix for McFarland to improve the forward crunch. It's like he doesn't hear any feedback.

The Flash figure's skin tone makes it look like a crash test dummy action figure... in my opinion. 🤔

I don't know why McFarlane makes you buy an entirely separate figure just for an alternate head. Seems pretty greedy, almost makes hasbro look generous.
If he just released pizza spider man and bucky cap molds 100 times he could include all kinds of accessories but I think he is more focused on unique sculpts which is way costlier than just doing repaints. And tries to make the money back by releasing variants. Imagine if every Batman from white knight to JL to last knight on earth to issue 1000 all had the same buck with more accessories. That would be lame.
@@BB-ed4om fair point and yeah the sculpting is way better, but in that case I would rather pay more money for all the accessories than buy the same figure twice. Some variations are pretty good like the gold labels or the white knight variations because they have new paint jobs so it’s worth it, but many are just the exact same figure with a different head so I’m forced to either buy an entire figure for one accessory or just live without it. Not the worst choice a person could have to make, but still it’s inconvenient and kinda annoying.
The qc and design choices on this wave really is questionable. My batman's hips also popped off and has a grey unpainted neck. And the hard plastic on supes' crotch is just weird
Its bad. The batman i got had a plastic flash burn on the bicep and the ball joint wrist is sticking out really far compared to how its supposed to look. Disappointed. They look good from a distance but yeah, QC was trash.

The mafex one is the best
A Tesla model 5 is better than a Ford Fusion but also costs 5x as much. Point being both represent the same thing. The fusion is a decent car and has some great features but no one would say it’s better than a model 5. But that other 60k can go to home improvements or savings.

Not into the Snyderverse so easy pass. I'm still hoping for an Arkham Origins Batman, an improved "regular" Batman, maybe the Bat rogues as they appeared in the Long Halloween; since McFarlane aquired DC Direct.

In all honesty. I think these figures are kinda bad, from aquaman being very difficult to hold his trident, they really don't scale with either either, Flash had a diaper, and the material just feels bad
Zack Snyder's designs SUCKS ASS! It came from the Micheal Bay Transformers school. Overcomplicated trash. The best McFarlane toys are those that they were given free reign over.
These are not as high quality as I want my Zack Snyder’s justice league to be I’ll just by the mezco version of all these
