If you are thinking of staying in Phu Quoc Island, you should check out this Saigon Phu Quoc Resort & Spa full walkthrough. We stayed there for 5 nights on our holiday to Phu Quoc, in a magnificent Beachside Villa. Come and see what it's really like.
Located on the famous Long Beach, Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, this resort is everything a Vietnam Beach Resort should be. Complimentary kayaks, huge swimming pool, private beach, seafood buffets. This resort has got the lot. And it's walking distance to the night markets and local town.
Overall we had an awesome time at this resort, the pool was amazing and the beach was right at our front doorstep​. The food in the resort was top class.
If I were to take marks off for anything, it is that we were too afraid to swim in the water. You see, sanitation is not as good as you might expect on Phu Quoc Island, and a lot of waste seems to get pumped straight into the ocean. No fault of Saigon Phu Quoc Resort of course. If you are going to stay anywhere in Phu Quoc, this is a great choice which we thoroughly recommend.

I stayed there for two weeks in Aug-Sept 2019 (the same year as this video). It was fantastic (although the weather was turning towards monsoon). Beautiful room - a 'Panorama Suite' with ceiling-to-floor doors which opened out onto a private balcony. Very professional hotel staff, extremely polite. While I was there I was practically the only westerner there. Breakfast in that huge dining room was always an occasion. The swimming pool was great - a lifeguard always on duty. Happy days. Now seems like a lifetime ago. I'd go back tomorrow - if I could! Thanks for this video.

We went to Phu Quoc on several occasions and stayed at different hotels. Saigon Phu Quoc is our favorite. It may be dated ,still it holds the charm, comfort and the privacy very well.
