Awesome game, with great skills on offer by both sides. The offload by Skudder whilst on the ground was just brilliant. Nice to see the chap back in the mix for the All-Blacks again. All NZ sides, apart from the Blues, look awesome. The Blues, I just do not get it. They have quality players, but just can not seem to play properly at the moment. Dare I say it, perhaps time for a Management change at the Blues, as much as we all hugely respect the legendary Tana Umanga, I think the Blues need a new Manager. Anyway, well done Highlanders, unlucky Canes.
To summarise ten minutes of pissing around on the Officials' behalf: there was a heap of Hurricanes errors leading up to the try, so they went back to that tackle from Squire, which everybody had witnessed being followed up by a punch from Savea (including some of the Officials), but because it wasn't caught on camera they couldn't do anything to Savea for it, so they stuck with carding Squire and it pissed everybody off. The play following this resulted in a number of handbags being thrown around by both teams as well. Then the flow of the game switched entirely to the Highlanders' favour - likely motivated by how pissed off they and the crowd were at that incident. So if anything that card was what won the game for the Highlanders.
Crusaders were just too hard - he was allowed a break there but now getting snubbed from the ABs has taken away his x factor and "anything is possible" attitude.
Green Fingers tbh I haven't watched this game but he was accused of not looking for work on the saders game All the same, time will tell whether he's ready for the ABs jump or he'll end up being another Renie Ranger
Andrew mwangi he's not even close to Rene rangers ability... More like a Frank halai who benefitted from alot of easy scores... Rene Ranger just wasn't given the opportunity with Maa Nonu and Conrad Smith locking up the center positions
Would rather see the last 3 phases before a score than the last phase only 3 times. Not interested in seeing every celebration. If someone gets carded I'd rather see what they did than the ref showing him the card, him walking off and him sitting down. I'd rather see some quality defence than the players running off at halftime or the ball being kicked out at the end and players clapping. The last 30sec of this video shows absolutely nothing. That's 9% of the whole video. Could you please try to make a highlight video that is 100% rugby next time please?

That's the law of the game. Jordie then made a sudden turn in front of him, so he dove in order to give Jordie a clear shot at Bender, which he blundered.
I'm sure the TMO would've reviewed it. They had a bit of a delay before the kick where Shields was hounding the ref and I guarantee if the TMO saw anything he wanted the ref to see, he would've shown him.
The tmo cant intervene unless its dangerous play by one of the teams so the ref would have had to choose to ask him. I just think it is interesting how some things get checked whereas others dont.
"Beauden Barrett has an 81% kicking accuracy this season" I mean its quite easy to get a good kicking percentage when you are in one of the best attacking teams in the league and most of the tries are under the posts....
