My Topdon Phoenix lite 3 does not offer simple live data PID for transmission fluid temperature. Is this common for basic data to not be included in aftermarket scan tools? I keep my tools updated and still no transmission fluid data offered.
You’re looking in TCM and data stream? This can vary by vehicle manufacturer. If you know the vehicle has a temp sensor. Then please submit it through feedback on the tool so we can address the issue.
@@billyyoder8171 @topdonusa This might not be applicable, but careful with CAN//PID signal lag- it can be 12,50 even 100mS after the actual event, depends on the PID. For temperature not so much a problem as that is slow to change.
Thanks for the video it really shows how versatile the oscilloscope is
It’s amazing what you can do with a scope!
Nice video. Are those Joe's noise sensors?
Sure are!
@@TOPDONUSA I thought I recognized them. I have several of those myself.
good vid!
Thanks 🤙
Does this oscilloscope have similar specs a Pico 5444D ?
The Pico is more advanced. Ours is a capable scope for most day to day operations in the life of an automotive technician at an affordable price
@@TOPDONUSA Thank you for the reply.

WHERE CAN WE GET THE NOISE SENSORS? I HAVE THE TOPDON
They are using chassis ears but you can easily make your own with knock sensors from a Super Duty.
