Your videos popped up on my feed a week or so ago, and your great content has gotten me back to turtle. I was happy to find the bot issue is gone, and I'm very excited about the next update. Thank you.
I had three bots/hackers fly by me at UFO speeds in Durotar yesterday. Some stuff just isn't fixable through the client/server but with GMs, something they're doing extremely well. Despite the current population surge a GM answered in mere seconds after I reported it. This happened back in 2005-2006 too, and the Blizzard GM staff which used to be awesome back then wasn't even this fast.
Just a slight correction, druids' Omen of Clarity already proccs off of spell casts as is. The addition of the new mana regen talent will make leveling as a moonkin much easier, no doubt. Nice video and it's been amusing watching people doom and gloom about the changes, not that they weren't in the right about some of them.
Half true the range pull part of paladin.. they got a new taunt now with kinda good range and even 8%hit to not miss Playing Paladin right now and its insane fun.. even that Holy Strike + Crusader Strike share a global cooldown is fine in my eyes, so you can decide what you need. Holy Strike = more threat, Crusader Strike = more block chance of course it would be fine if you could stack both but its fine as it is :) also tried the Frost mage part and that new talent that freeze the mage in one place sucks a bit.. if you decide to move you damage yourself what makes no sense in my eyes.. (also big dislike on the blizzard slow nerf but yeah..) did not try out the other stuff but thats what i tested so far :)
I find paladin worse than retail vanilla. It's just too clicky with all the instant attacks and the judgement juggling while trying not to drop your zeal stacks. I'm still giving it a full go to 60 to see if it gets smoother. I actually enjoyed the wait for procs in vanilla but always wished it would've been more impacted by other skills or talents to scale it. It felt more priestly not to have a bunch of active attacks but instead focus on things like cleansing, stuns and being present and not staring on buffs counting down.
Druid tank (at least talent wise) didn't get a buff, if you really think about it. The two new tanking focused talents can't be utilized without sacrificing furor, and as we know- furor is quite possibly one of the most important feral talents- at least for cat. Yes, I understand that as a feral tank you don't really need furor except for a nice advantage when starting combat since you're normally not changing forms, but it is ESSENTIAL for powershifting as DPS. And- as we know, feral is famous for being able to fill both DPS and tanking without having to sacrifice much (if anything) in the way of talents. Not to mention... Feral Adrenaline is terrible. Full stop. You get a 45% dodge chance out of being crit, which is nice, but then you remember you have to get crit, and you only dodge one attack. EVERY THIRTY SECONDS. You basically get a significantly increased chance to dodge- not a free dodge, every half a minute. For three talent points, mind you. This isn't a 1 point talent. The other talent, Ancient brutality, is thankfully better, but probably not worth taking unless you're fully invested in tanking and nothing more, and it also helps for when you're tanking large groups of mobs as you're basically guaranteed a dodge every six seconds depending on gear/level diff. The way it works is you get 15% of your damage returned as healing and you get 3 more rage per attack for five seconds every time you dodge, with the limitation of this proccing every six seconds. So, theoretically, if the stars aligned perfectly, you'd only have 1 second of downtime, and that would admittedly be like- REALLY good. But not all situations are going to favor you that way. Even so, much better talent than Feral adrenaline without a doubt, though it also costs 3 points. That's an extra 6 points total for tanking. That's not even including the open wounds talent for DPS by the way. But that's about as shit as feral adrenaline because no one uses bleeds and the numbers have been run and people have been proven you'd just be better off doing your old rotation, so that's kinda just a dead option. Anyways. With the way I see things turning out, neither feral tanks or DPS will be taking these new talents, and will just stick to the old stuff. Thankfully we got some nice baseline tweaks though, so that's really all I have to complain about... Oh wait, they made MCP useless? Fuck... That's a rant for another day I guess.
I like alot of the articulation and contemplation you provide here Bigsmerf. Ancient Brutality when paired with Enraged Regeneration has some insanely huge potential but I do see what you mean about only getting dodge on a 30 sec cooldown being somewhat underwhelming for Feral Adrenaline. Healing on dodge is pretty amazing, definitely think Feral Adrenaline might be skipped by a huge chunk of player base due to hefty cooldown. I can imagine a feral druid potentially dipping into some +healing gear to get some meme potential on the Ancient Brutality heal to great effect though haha. Thank you for the thoughtful discussion and contributing to the community with the Druid feedback, alot of this was not being said by anyone else so far and definitely needs more attention.
Why no mention of the warlock rework ? Their survivability has been nerfed, they mana survivabiliy has been nerfed, their new rotation in affli is very clunky with the new dark harvest being 30s, drain soul feels worse to use than drain life as a Main Spell Deep destro sadly just doesn't work The big "winner" is destro warlock but at this point why not rereoll a mage ? In PvP in general : no mention of the damage spikes right now nullifying Healers roles in PvP I hope that it all will addressed asap, either telling is its here to stay or that it will be profoundly changed again so we know what to do
@@sol6030 there are alot of problems that Im giving time to be ironed out. I know what you mean though Warlocks, Healers, Rogues, and ofcourse tanking is less enjoyable due to damage spikes as well. Which causes threat to scatter all over the place. Dungeons are feeling more retail and PvP is feeling unbalanced. Essentially instead of using public test realms, we are testing the changes live so it will take awhile to get things on track. Things will get better but we will definitely have to wait and be patient.
I’d be more happy if they took away that dmg to mechanicals for something more usefull. Perhaps give gnomes the short sword spec (dagger + 1h sword) that I remember from retail.
Feels like shaman got left behind in terms of mana 😅 they give us a way to regen mana with what’re shield while casting. Still shaman gear got mostly no spirit on gear and in general scales the worst 🤣 good joke
Hi, nice video, also good job on calming down the community a little, just quick info as a warrior you will have sunder as your new spam button for procs instead of hamstring, which is actually really good because finally all the warriors will use the spell and I will not be the only one stacking it up all the time 😂 also would like to ask you about your personal opinion for warrior tank, I see that warriors are getting kinda pushed towards shield tanking, which sucks a little since fury tanking is cool and it feels weirdly good, but I am not at all sure about the concussion blow talent, i mean they added damage and stuff to it but still row 6 in prot tree is kinda meh and bosses are still immune for stun effects, seems like it still lacks the point to go for this one tbh, but again there, guess we need to wait for changes to go live and test it out, just wanted to ask since I did not see anyone mention this at all yet so just wanted to ask for an opinion from fellow warrior on this one
I personally still see Fury or Arms tanking as incredibly viable while leveling as a Warrior and Shield Tanking because of mitigation and damage smoothing being more of an end game / raid mechanic. Great idea to use Sunders for Stacks, my only fear is that other warriors in the same group as me might generate threat on a target that isnt the primary target haha. As far as Concussion Blow, previously it didnt actually do damage it only stunned so this is a step in the right direction. I see Concussion Blow as more of an off target tool in many cases where you can smooth out initial damage of pulls or prevent an off target from free casting. Really appreciate alot of your discussion, enjoyed alot of points you brought up.

For those who dont know: Sacred Duty was a new talent they were suggesting adding which raised Stamina by 2/4/6% with 3 ranks. I believe they decided to remove it after understading how much new damage mitigation paladins have.

Thank you so much brother I appreciate your content and community as well.

A mostly holy specced tank may be stronger then ever(may not apply to raids 🤷)...in mop or wod pally was the best tank because of healing threat.
