Even now there aren't very many clubs United would be less skilled than, so its to our advantage. Also a roof has another very underrated benefit: It keeps noise in and creates an incredible atmosphere.
Honestly, it's a good move. Lots of stadiums in the US have retractable roofs so sports like baseball can still play while it's raining. No more bad pitch conditions is nice, and it keeps more wind out in the winter for fans.
