@@calrbra120 Tbh, Dead Island is much more replayable than DL. It just feels fun to get all the hidden secrets, while in DL it's just kind of boring to replay. Also, the MINIMUM requires for Dying Light are MUCH higher than Dead Island's. I could even run the game on a crappy laptop! Some people still play it, but not a lot

My most fondest memory being someone dropping a rocket launcher to the floor, it was modded and I wanted that shit So I took it while it wasn't meant for me lmao Then the guy dmed me on PS3 being like "gib that back pls I gib u one too" and that's how peace was ensured xD

I only have first hand experience with the PS4 version and since the last time I've played it, "Despondency" (Pause Menu Theme) was replaced. There have been updates to it however I have yet to see if this change was intended or accidental.

This theme had such a feeling of just dread behind it. I really enjoyed dead island 2 now that it came out after all these years, but I can't help but feel like it definitely doesn't compare to the darker undertones of the first game. I remember being 9 when this game first came out, and it'd take me forever to progress because I was just so scared to do anything the world was so unsettling and just had this dead quiet atmosphere. It really made it feel like zombies had really took over the whole island, and you and your small groups really were the last of the people there. I just remember sitting at the lifeguard station or the lighthouse for hours, too scared to go out and do anything. While playing this years later doesn't quite have that same effect over me, it still is such an eerie game to go through.

All the collectable items.. cool weapons to find and craft.. the story and music.. every individual character to choose at the beginning.. Played it on PS3 and PS4 for a while and enjoyed every aspect of the tropical vibe. DI , DI Riptide and Dying Light are the best survival open-world zombie games ever made..

They changed the music in the definitive edition. I don't know why, but this old original music feels like if you're actually surviving the zombies apocalypse, you're completely alone, so lonely, and silence too. I really wish Techland bring the old music back

It’s a weird feeling of fear and peace at the same time. Kind of like the 28 days later soundtrack. Music that can give me mixed emotions all at the same time is what I consider top tier legendary music. I get these vibes mostly from instrumental music. 😊
Makes me think of the first time I ever played online. Someone playing as Sam B gave me a pistol that had over 13 trillion bullets and dealt 36,000 damage per shot. And an invisible assault rifle that was pretty much the same as the pistol but automatic. Hackers can be cool people sometimes

Then gave me some of the unaccesible weapons on Sam B when i created a save for him. Love my homie fr
When this game released I just moved and didn't have internet for a few days, it was surreal to be cut off and in the story and environment for the few days before I started playing with friends, the music only intensified that and still I can reach back into my memories when I listen to this.
unlike the resort,moresby is way more dangerous because theres alot more zombies and also humans to kill you, going around Moresby on foot without proper equipment is a death sentence
