For a free hero AND an early unlock Asra is insane. Teleport, ranged attack, almost insta kill ability, and poison arrows that are better than the regular laser ability. then i saw the icy dragon and was kind of depressed.
With almsot every kingdom rush game and also that iron marines game vehicular champions (I include dragons under this catagory) are always op, to the point where I don't really enjoy playing them as much coz they literally cheese their way through most situations. If we discount vehicular champions Asra makes top 3, which honestly isn't bad. Imo since moloch is just that much weaker than her he should have been who we unlocked second with her being the final hero to unlock coz she's one of my favorite heroes of all time
Asra is the most fun hero for me as teleporting around the map in light speed and taging enemies for a install kill and running away is one of the most fun things!

Mortemis was a good idea, but badly made, if he was full necromancer - ultraweak unit, but reviving enemies and making armies, that would make him overpowered in good hands

I just think the same, and not only him, but similar heroes. If Mortemis had the ability to strenght the zombie grave and close zombies, and also transorm the enemies that die close to him into zombies (just like the Necromancer tower in Frontiers) it would have been way better. Also for the movement, just make him dig himself into the ground and appear in the new position, basically teleportation like that Ent Hero in Origins, it wouldnt be bad at all :D
Youre spot on with asra, I was about to argue for her before watching the video xd, but when I saw the placement, I think its perfect. She has the "best" mobility in the game and the poison ability is one of my favorites as I have this technique of teleporting her to a really big unit and poison them and then out her back, and they usually die before touching the barracks. She's good in everything, but she does fall off in the later levels.
"I have this technique..." everyone who has played her does that, it is a no-brainer. Keep her at range so she doesn't waste her poison blade on weak foes, then teleport to a big enemy who just came out. Poison the big guy, teleport out and watch it die as it moves across the map. Easy peasy.
Excellent video dude, honestly the Doom Tank is my Champ for life, but when I need to win battles yes or yes, the Iced Dragon is my safe choice, its just so OP and awesome. I really like Asra, Mortemis and the CONCEPT of Oloch, but I think those could work WAY better if they had some kind of speciall efect on towers related to them, with Asra strengthening the Dark archer tower and the Dark Knights, Mortemis making more resistant the zombie yards and Oloch duplicating the power of the Demon fire tower (that in my opinion is pretty weak) The same could apply to the Doom tank in my opinion, if it had an especiall effect in all artillery towers and also the Dark Knights that could give it an especial place as a "hero for the explosive towers", the same with that Orc champion, that he give power to the local orc dens and goblin towers as their champion
I personally like Mortemis a lot, he of course has not mobility but cause he is a mage, if he had mobility he would've been broken, he can spawn zombies, area damage, high dps. Good hero in my opinion
Bro Olochs special skill is deadly if it's just a couple really tough enemies left, it has a very short cool down and teleports enemies all the way back from where they came from, you could stall indefinitely with it

Eiskalt is OP af. Slow enemies, AoE, True Damage on his basic attacks, HP% damage with a skill, his special is amazing. I think he is probally the most OP hero in the KR series so far (with Phoenix and Bonehart as close contenders for the top).
An imp part ant thing to note in the later levels some free heroes are a lot better for certain levels. Like on the ghost levels sometimes you need the orc guy to take care of the physical enemies in one lane while you focus magic tower upgrades in another lane.
7:15 I actually think he's slept on a bit. He is REALLY good in certain stages and his ability to basically move from place to place instantly with his jetpack is also really nice.
quite opposite of you, oloch and mortemis actually my top tier hero bcs I'm having trouble controlling high mobility hero like asra/jack, so low mobility with insane choke point guard like oloch/mortemis is the one for me. They can guard one choke point indefinitely while I can focus upgrading tower on the other choke point
I like how high is Asra in this list. Wherever I need help on the map I can just send her to this place and look how she kills enemies with her arrows. Plus her rain of poisoned arrows is perfect for both weak and strong enemies.
Jun'pai is the best hero for supporting barracks, but the shockwave ability costs too much for the little damage. Jigou is just a clone of Grawl with hp regeneration instead of medium armor. Tramin has a VERY powerful spell that can 3 shot a whole stonebeard (without steroids). Fun fact: doom tanks normal attack does true damage, because it can attack ghosts. Murglun is the best support hero for towers that aren't barracks. Eiskalt is OP that's all I have to say about him.
Doom tank is my favourite. Because he is literally 4 units in one hero. Sometimes he can replace barracks in early game. And also his ability is great.
I feel like you're overvaluing mobility a bit. Sure it can help a bit in certain situations but you mention it as one of the first things for every hero and it seems to be a major factor in their placement
in my opinion doom tank has best active from all of the heroes it does 420 dmg over time when maxed out and works amazing with blast furnances that can stun tougher enemies in place
You made it sound like Beresad should not be picked over the 3 dragon (discounting Dianyun because he wasn't mentioned), Beresad is a very powerful choice still, I used Beresad the most out of the 3 dragons because of 2 abilities The ability to cause fear to *ALL* nearby enemies, that's basically a ghetto teleport to all nearby enemies and secondly He an instakill ability just like Murglun
His magic doesn't all that much damage, he has really low health, no armor, his melee damage is pretty much 0, he's really slow, the zombies he bring have no armor, low health and they lose like 5 health points every second by themselves, the mega zombie he brings is really only one warrior meaning he can only stall one guy at a time and by the time he leaves he probably only killed 1 or 2 enemies max. Other heroes' special ability do area damage so they do a lot of damage to many enemies instead of just to 1 or 2.
Eiskalt is good hero and his skill makes it easy for slow but high damaging towers and if u are looking for high damage think the tank is great for his ultimate and High health for the yeti(sorry I always forget the heros name cus I have to study)

Jack is perfect for me I think he is the best choice you get incredible hero for 3 dolars,But my favourite and most funniest heroes in the game are the Tank and Tramin.
Asra is good in a different way her poison arrows is like a semi asteroid it doesn't deal much but can kill weak enemies I use her as an assassin when the enemy has a spellcaster I save her poison and thanks to her passive she can teleport in front of your target and kill it easily as she has weak health I use her not as a melee I use her as a ranged attacker she is not much but I can use her to kill 3 strong spellcasters and 4 weak spellcasters because she has sheild. Just my opinion.
Oloch isn't the worst hero in my opinion. First, magic damage from a hero for its basic attack is hard to come by. In the Frozen Nightmare Mini-Campaign, the only thing you need magic damage for are Frozen Souls. Thus, using Oloch negates any point in using any more magic towers. Second, His hero spell is insane. When using it against slow and strong enemies (like Bone Carriers, Snow Golems, etc.), you could keep them immobile forever. It is one of the best leak catchers in the series and its incredibly fast cooldown allows for so many teleports. Third, his clone ability allows for him to move to a certain location, create his clone, and move back. The clones basically act as another Oloch in that area, except they can't die and can't engage in melee for that period of time, effectively giving you a ranged Oloch where he would normally go into melee. Oloch isn't the worst. That place goes to Veruk (IMO).

@@ashtonlu9757 I'm pretty sure it does but I am be wrong, what made me think it does magic is that it damages ghosts, and I also found out that some artillery towers like the rocket riders and the zeppelin damages ghosts too, but the damage outcome they did to the ghosts compare to jack's head was weaker. It maybe because of the 50% armor reduction damage. Again, I may be wrong but thanks for pointing that out.
Astra is S tier for me as I try not spending money so as a one of the only 3 free units it doesn’t matter she is the only viable one and therefor is S tier
Olochs skill is better than you think. It’s really powerful it’s cool down is really fast and if the enemy is slow he could just teleport em back again
I think mortemis is too low ranked here. He is pbb the worst on his own, but he is a walking spawner and het does great damage. Also bodyguard can permastun whole groups of enemies. He is great and can easily maintain a great chokepoint

i brought Jack just for impulse xD but i feet so satisfied xD the explosion of his pumpkin its awesome xD plus the nightmares are great at dealing with fast enemies as their speed matches the ability so they take the damage constantly xD
I'll fix you for Tramin :) He has fast attack speed, throwing bombs at the enemy. If his bomb hit at the ground, it will summon a imp or minion :). That's my explanation for Tramin so yeah
For mortemis, what do you expect for someone who is supposed to be dead😂but for me he will be better if he goes full necromancing or summoning instead of a mage, while for oloch its odd his description says he help veznan yet he is also the worst for me, asra is not my playstyle so i don't think i can use her very well, veruk is pretty decent for me and the one i use simply because he is the only free hero capable of stalling well, while doomtank is my favourite
Of course the hero depends on your playstyle or what you need if you can't defeat a level, but for me no hero fits my playstyle which is summoning or swarming, mortemis could fit if he go complete zombie summoning and not dealing poor range magic
Honestly. Doom tank is just the best for me. Extremely flexible and really good mobility. Which allows him to take on almost any roles? Clusters of enemies? Send in the missles. Fast enemies? Ground slam. Enemies surrounding him? HEAVY FLAMER everything. Stalling? You got the boys. Honestly he is just really flexible in almost every engagement given.
i dont want to be a hater but objectivly half of this isnt true ,judge ,movement speed ,ressistance,damage,abillity cooldown, primary and secondary abillity,assistance ,on its own ,attack speed.
Does anyone else think the Doom tank is the best? I just don’t see any weakness on this hero tbh. Like he does a lot of damage, stalls, and has great abilities all around.
Doomtank's weakness is he himself can't stall and his guards are not tough as its use for range or maybe even he is outclassed, but for me doomtank is great for holding a full lane or providing massive and effective fire support

yep, that's the best of Oloch, the special skill is very good.
Using Oloch's teleport did save me on a few levels. Though ice dragon just dwarfs the competition, as he's the best hero in every kingdom rush game.

Oloch’s ultimate is OP, it has almost no cooldown and can keep stuff on screen forever (especially because of the enemy designs in this game aka SLOW)

Especially with the lich. The other two free heroes don’t work as well as the Ogre/Orc hero

Beresad to me is the best hero, his ult kills all smaller units without towers so you don't have to spend money on expensive AOE towers like furnace.

What do you like about him? I think he’s really cool, but I haven’t gotten vengeance yet and I’d like to have an opinion.

Astra is S tier for me as I try not spending money so as a one of the only 3 free units it doesn’t matter she is the only viable one and therefor is S tier
My favourite hero its Doom tank he best.
Olochs skill is better than you think. It’s really powerful it’s cool down is really fast and if the enemy is slow he could just teleport em back again
OMG oloch is so powerful Why Last place hes almost dominant in the early levels when u get him and hes abilitys are so strong

I think mortemis is too low ranked here. He is pbb the worst on his own, but he is a walking spawner and het does great damage. Also bodyguard can permastun whole groups of enemies. He is great and can easily maintain a great chokepoint

i brought Jack just for impulse xD but i feet so satisfied xD the explosion of his pumpkin its awesome xD plus the nightmares are great at dealing with fast enemies as their speed matches the ability so they take the damage constantly xD

I'll fix you for Tramin :) He has fast attack speed, throwing bombs at the enemy. If his bomb hit at the ground, it will summon a imp or minion :). That's my explanation for Tramin so yeah
IMO jigou is low key broken, he can stall the dwarven mech boss, almost permanently, with his igloo ability and hes so good against bosses

Asra is easily the best of the free ones, and better than a few ranked above her. Versatility is second to none.

For mortemis, what do you expect for someone who is supposed to be dead😂but for me he will be better if he goes full necromancing or summoning instead of a mage, while for oloch its odd his description says he help veznan yet he is also the worst for me, asra is not my playstyle so i don't think i can use her very well, veruk is pretty decent for me and the one i use simply because he is the only free hero capable of stalling well, while doomtank is my favourite
Of course the hero depends on your playstyle or what you need if you can't defeat a level, but for me no hero fits my playstyle which is summoning or swarming, mortemis could fit if he go complete zombie summoning and not dealing poor range magic

Honestly. Doom tank is just the best for me. Extremely flexible and really good mobility. Which allows him to take on almost any roles? Clusters of enemies? Send in the missles. Fast enemies? Ground slam. Enemies surrounding him? HEAVY FLAMER everything. Stalling? You got the boys. Honestly he is just really flexible in almost every engagement given.
I disagree with one thinf and its asras spot she is just fun to play she tps has a ability that makes sure your enemy dies in seconds

i dont want to be a hater but objectivly half of this isnt true ,judge ,movement speed ,ressistance,damage,abillity cooldown, primary and secondary abillity,assistance ,on its own ,attack speed.

Does anyone else think the Doom tank is the best? I just don’t see any weakness on this hero tbh. Like he does a lot of damage, stalls, and has great abilities all around.
yep but i also prefer eiskalt due to his slowing passive and attacks.
Doomtank's weakness is he himself can't stall and his guards are not tough as its use for range or maybe even he is outclassed, but for me doomtank is great for holding a full lane or providing massive and effective fire support
