Michael is a proud father and loving husband with a bottomless pool of material about his family. In stand up, Michael came up under the wings of Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy and now headlines all over the country. He also appeared on season 15 of America's Got Talent ( • Michael Yo Gets the Au... ); Michael received a yes from all four judges and made it to the Quarter-Finals.
As an actor, Michael stars as Philip Brown in the Apple TV+ series “Amber Brown,” recurred on “Kevin Can Wait,” shot the Damon Wayan Jr.’s pilot “Happy Together” for CBS, and was a principal in Facebook Watch’s first sitcom series, “Starter Pack.” Michael previously covered celebrity news on “The Insider,” “Extra” and “E! News.” He also coached Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian as radio DJs for their show “Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami” on E! Michael has co-hosted CBS’ “The Talk” and continues to appear as a hot topics guest on “The Wendy Williams Show.”

I know no family is perfect, but you can feel the love between all of you. The fact that your family is an interracial melting pot just makes it even more beautiful!

I was married to a black man for almost 34 years before he passed away from cancer. In response to questions being asked about interracial relationships and marriages. People stared at us back in the 1980’s but I fell in love with the man and not his color. It was great 🥰

Mom has a Korean accent mixed with dad's African American dialect. It's cute. I'm American I lived in Korea 10 years and learned Korean. It's funny how Koreans who live in the states 30, 40, 50 years still speak broken English..but it's because English and Korean are so different in grammar and letters so it's very difficult to speak perfectly in one or the other and most Americans don't bother learning Korean.

I disagree with your parents about who'd kill at comedy. Your dad would have that good confidence to go on stage and win the audience, but your mom would kill the show. She has that necessary observance and delivery, and your dad has the showmanship. Well, they both are naturals and have great chemistry, so they'd be a comedy duo. I mean, they're stealing the show right now, together. All three of you are funny. And it seems your son will soon be joining the family comedy business with his adorable commentary. Hello Michael, my name is Rhee, Kun woong( pronounced, yi gun oong), Joe Rhee is what I go by. Watching your family and your parents especially makes me very happy and sad same time too because I have a sister who married a Black GI in the late 70s or early 80s in Korea and moved to the States. I came to the States in '72 with my father's family(we have a different father). unfortunately, I don't even remember her full name( I think her name was Kyung yea, maybe Kim not sure about her last name) but I have been looking for her since the mid-80s when I heard the news from a relative that she has been looking for me too and the relative did not have any info about her nor about her husband. Watching you and your parents make me miss my sister more. She should be in her 70s too like your mom is. Unfortunately, I don't have much time left with terminal cancer and maybe God got me watching you so that I can take some comfort. I'm loving every minute of your shows and comics. Thank you.

I'm a mixed Korean from Hawaii and have live over half my life in the mainland. I have very beautiful females in my family and I've got to say your mother is amazing beautiful! To answer one of the other questions earlier about lotion. It's her natural DNA and what she eats in her diet. My grandmother and all her daughters were the same way. Only your moms personality is great! Dad's a real ham and has a great personality as well. I'm so mixed you wouldn't believe it. I'm half South Korean 4th generation in America mixed with Black Dutch which is Spaniard/German/Jewish & Black. Then I have Cherokee Indian; Irish. I tell folks I'm like the U.N. only I'm at peace with myself. I wanted to do comedy not to long ago but never put the effort into it. Just on the side with people around me at work. I pray you much success brother man!
