I want to play this game. I saw a gameplay of it on TH-cam a while back (2016?) and really wanted to play it. We had Rush 2049 on the N64 when I was a kid, which I loved, but this game has a different appeal to it. I wanted to vouch for it, even though I haven't played it, but plan to. I think it's on the Wii U Virtual Console, so I want to buy it after I get a Wii U. Speaking of which, the Wii U Virtual Console is supposed to be closing down early next year, so if you want to buy anything on it you need to do it soon!!
@@matthewmathis62 I didn’t know it was Wii U virtual console. But yeah I have a Wii U and it’s great for virtual console. Also when Nintendo closes the e shop you can always homebrew and get the games that way, it’s pretty easy for the Wii and 3DS so I imagine it’s pretty easy for the Wii U

The stunt track was like driving a car at a skatepark, it was the best idea for a game EVER...kinda still is. I am glad I have epic memories of getting to expereince that in the 90's to play this game when there was no real life drama to worry about.

This game is a classic. It was so fun to play against my younger brothers and one younger sister at the time. Now I have 2 younger sisters and a niece, finally experienced love with my now ex girlfriend. How time flies this game is still in my favorites even though it's 2020. I will be 23 in October how time flies.
I played so much San Francisco RUSH, loved it. I never really cared for RUSH 2049. But i NEVER heard anything about RUSH 2 (which is way more similar than 1) when i played the N64.

My brother and I had four games on the 64; Mario, Rush 2, Zelda, and NFL Blitz. He and I would play the stunt course for hours on end, joysticks were as loose as the curtains whipping around the living room, rear sore from the stupidly-uncomfortable and ugly couch cushion you sat on cross-legged until both your feet fell asleep. I find myself just listening to the audio makes me smile, especially on the days we’re you feel like your task is to push rope uphill.

I played this so damn much as a kid. I especially loved the “stunt jump” levels where you could free roam.
