i tried this a few times, best i can do is 4th. 3 seconds off 3rd. i have racing softs and race transmission installed with top speed set to 280kph. i have fuel at 6 for lap 1 and then i set it to 1 for the next 4 laps. pit at end of lap 5. fuel at 5 for lap 6 and then i set it to 1 for the rest of the race. i get close and i think if i tidy up some laps ill get it done. update, switched to easy mode. won by 40 seconds
The difficluty is normal here. If you take Hard difficulty, your result will be 4-5th place. It's bad tactic. Strategy without pitstop gives 11:59 as minimum, and your time 12:09.
This was the most annoying races i've ever done in gt7. My fastest laps were 1.08 but even then the Ai would activate some kind of cheats and run times of 1.07 and 06s. Not mentioning how they will intentionally block you and push you off track at times. I tried cars such as the 1999 nissan pennsoil gt car, the supra gt500 97' and even the rally cars. The rally cars were actuslly decent. The braking always through you off. I feel like without that issue, they could ne really insanely fast. The power and cornerimg speed was there just couldn't brake at all without it yeeting itself everytime. I was stuck on book 43 for atleast 4months and never thought of doing it again until i stumbled on this video. Somehow the car in the video suddenly appeared in the legend cars store even tho i never saw it before after i accidentally backed out and came back. Still wasn't working tho. But i managed to get down to 10secs gap difference between me and 1st withing the 1st laps before they activated their cheat and i couldn't catchup no more. So i figured i could just change the settings to easy mode. In all my existence in gt7 i always raced the Ai at max difficulty and won. But i had to play on easy for this one. All that for the roulette to give me a 100k gold bar. Like wtf. I earned about 500k by finishing that damn book and i get money i don't want from a roulette instead of parts😡 i hate you PD😡
can anyone tell me for hard mode to win on hard mode with 1th place with this car? i tryed many setups with middle and high rpm and dont have a chance alway 8th place ;(
@@blaeknight6356 lmao listen i play gt games for 25 years and im not a bad driver and couldnt finish that race in first place on hard i got second tho just not first they are extremely fast on hard difficulty i was even struggeling with tuning a car for those events then i just went to medium difficulty and used the porsche 962 but no matter how i tune it the group c cars are still faster on the straights i just can get more then 460 hp out of a group c car the pp systhem is incredibly fucking stupid with this bullshit i hate it This way your forced to enter the race with some goofy build with the suspension up high messing with the downforce and all that while still keeping it driveble WHHHYYYY IS IT SO HARD FOR THEM TO JUST ADD RACES WERE THESE GROUP C CARS CAN ACTUALLY BE PROPPERLY USED

This must not be on hard mode, cos the ai does lap times of about 1:06 when I'm attempting it.
