For anyone wondering, Buak will be the next Unturned Curated map! After nearly 2 years of work, 1,200+ custom objects, 2,000+ items, custom animations, custom sounds, a full original OST. It's almost here! (AND NO MORE DELAYS!!!! YIPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!)
Some details: It WILL be curated! It will be a large map! (Don't know how the insane size rumor started, sorry to disappoint with that?)

Bro last night i finished the map and i was like, ''Was it Unturned?'' not going to give spoilers but the cutscenes.. It didn't feel like Unturned it was something else!

The Unturned 2.0 aesthetics are a nice touch.. very nostalgic

This is most scary map ever made on unturned
I really enjoyed playing this map, I like it a lot and I like the internecion cube reference.
Can't describe how I'm hyped and impressed of this map! Seeing the trailer it really makes me feel it resembles classic era of Unturned. The assets, ambience and lighting look like the map is straight from 2.0 era. And Buak refreshes them in a new unique way with more detailed looting and more capabilities for base builders and survivalists with all hunting and crafting being enhanced. It's really how official maps like Washington and PEI should look like, to be honest.
There's also that scary part included which is missing in the official maps, except for the long forgotten PEI lighthouse anomaly and that note from St. Petersburg's subway. It surely adds to the aesthetics.
Also, the date 7/7 means it will come out on the game's birthday - which kinda adds up to my first thought of remaking the classic game in a fresh way.

@@SERBZ333 в старой версии Unturned (2.0, или 2.2.5) в одном из патчей на маяк локации Summerside Peninsula добавили эффект двух мигающих светящихся красных огней, которые игроки сочли за глаза призрака.

Также этот призрак есть на реиттарации карты P.E.I из 2.0/2.2.5 в 3.0, "Unturned Classic". Есть и видео SirAdy про этот призрак и отсылки на Буаке.
I don't normally comment on TH-cam, but since this is the night before Buak releases, I thought I'd make an exception.
Toothy, over the past year I've enjoyed watching you devote so much energy and passion into this map, and I anticipate those things will show to everyone else just as much when they experience it for the first time. It's been a pleasure to have been along for the ride - I hope Buak will serve as an inspiration for aspiring mapmakers and other creators everywhere.
Thanks for giving us Buak, and soon perhaps you can take a well-deserved break! You should be proud of yourself.

Amazing work on the map man, after a few days of playing it i can already see that you have made something that no other unturned map creator could do and made an actual proper survival map, the time the work and the effort was all clearly worth the wait for this amazing result and that me and everyone else can enjoy for years on end, Huge round of applause for the team, Cheers for Buak
this is probably the best trailer I've seen, I've got butterflies in my stomach from exitement already, I cant wait!

the visible passage of time
the airdrop plane
it progresses the main lore storyline
the dead zone is terrifying
they did a gps version of the map even though i’m pretty sure you wouldn’t see it without using cheats
good badge items
interesting characters
queer representation
i do not like:
i left and rejoined a singe player server and it spawned me back at a spawn zone with all my supplies
no military presence
no train
there’s no unique item that i look at and say “i wish that was in vanilla”
i personally don’t like the bundle but i’m picky so i understand
overall: 9/10

I just wanna say this unturned map literally shaped me, it's so good! It's difficult to get good loot and its fun for hours on end wether its pve or pvp, I love this map so much even though it's dead, I just wish it would come back into popularity!
thank you very much for such a wonderful map, this is the best map I have ever seen and played, unforgettable sensations, cool, wonderful emotions, a new experience in the field of survival in a wild habitat, a cool system of dropping items out of boxes, separate locations in separate cities, which adds to the map and the game to feel the plot, the plot is something fantastic, starting with cleaning, ending with a boss fight, I really liked the character animations, emotions, the characters themselves, how the events are described, and the soundtracks are a paradise for ears, especially the soundtrack from the credits, I respect him. Soft refined, smoothly increasing melody, bliss, and that's not all, there are many advantages on this map, from myself personally, I want to thank all those people who took part, guys, you made a truly incredible map, which is a pleasure to play, and I hope that in the future, you will also please us wonderful cards. One of the most underrated maps of all time has a awesome style of play and really hits that survival gameplay right lore is just awesome and I really need to go back and enjoy it again

Is that the OST? If so, I adore the desolate, yet arcade-like feel it of it. Perfectly sets the mood for a map of this caliber. I knew Buak was going to be incredible, but this is more akin to a masterpiece

buak makes me think a ton about gravity falls, its so similar to it like with the wildlife, the scenery and the anomalies. so hyped for this map

this map makes me think of an old "legend" from 2.0 where people would see 2 red eyes in the lighthouse

Really dig the Unturned 2.0 vibes. Map looks overall very promising. Definitely gonna give it a try once it launches!
This is literally my new fav map already detron arid, polaris, russia and france, my fav maps. But i know that theyre in specific biomes like: desert. One thing i want to add is that it reminds me a little bit to rust or Dayz, the stetic, other thing i want to add is that this map is gonna have animals, adding more life to the map, also is going to have something similar like polaris with the penguins. I cant wait to see the lore add to the game, like she took the old esteregg from Pei of the red eyes in the lights house and the map is an island like Pei, great reference. The animations are a new level of work better than before, i just like to see all the things like this, showing the effort, the love, the experince they learn and put, and the care to do something new ❤, now its time for wait to the relese day, cya around the map soon, and the best for Buak!
