- Clachnacuddin Football Club hold the record for the most amount of Highland League titles in Scottish football.
The other big Inverness team is called Inverness Caledonian Thistle. They used to be two teams who merged, however Clachnacuddin have always gone it alone!
This was a great day of groundhopping to a non league stadium!

I kinda fell into your videos by chance and since then i have watched a load of them ............ these are all great videos with a detailed look at clubs where no-one else would even think about visiting ............. my hats off sir ....... keep these coming !
100% the best football vlogging channel on youtube
Thanks mate! Glad someone thinks so!
@@FootyAdventures yeah been watching your videos for almost 10 months now, and you became one of my favourite youtubers. Keep up the good work. 💙💛❤
@@king24cz80 Nice glad to hear it :) More coming soon!
Another great video, what a tidy wee ground, liked the home and away tops too.
Yeah they have nice kits!
@@FootyAdventures
Cracking kits if I was a fan I would definitely buy both of them.
@@alanfox691 they have great kits you're right!
Great to see the small clubs being covered as this level don't get covered enough ⚽️⚽️⚽️🎫🎫🎫
Cheers!!
@@FootyAdventures thank you mate 👌👌👌
I absolutely love your Scottish football tour I hope it never ends 😊
Thanks, more to come!!!
Yay :)
Great to see you at Clach Park. Cracking vid. Cmon the Lilly's 👍🏁
Great video. It's amazing the success they've had despite not being one of the biggest clubs in the Highland League. There's even more teams from Inverness than you mentioned, Loch Ness FC also play in Inverness but don't have their own ground yet and then there's Inverness Athletic but they don't actually play in Inverness. It's a lot of teams but it's not quite Dundee where there is a junior club on every second street.
Yeah there seems to be a lot of clubs in quite a small area population wise!
@@FootyAdventures There's 70000 people in Inverness btw.
Typically poorly researched
He's not only forgotten about Inverness Citadel fc , 4th Highland League team.
Also older than Clach !
He hasn't done his research.
This is a huge 😳 error 😳
Another fascinating video mate. I knew Clachnacuddin were stalwarts of the Highland League, but didn't know they had been so successful in the past. 👍
Yeah they're a right good historic old club! Glad you enjoyed!
Another great video love the old style stadiums
Thanks Ross!
Great video well done! 🏴🏴🏴
Thanks! 😃
Threre was a fourth team in Inverness until the late 1930's Citadel -I think there is a new team using that name created about 10year ago..
That takes me back a few years when I was a Forfar Supporter looking out for Highland League results and remember Clachnacuddin what a brilliantly run club thanks 🏴⚽🏴⚽🏴⚽
Nice! Cheers for watching!
I’d love to live in one of those houses! I believe Leyton Orient have something similar. 👍🏼
Yes they do I think!
Brillant video well done
Many thanks!
This channel continues to deliver great content
I appreciate that!
Your getting the videos in mate doing things
Im trying so hard!
@@FootyAdventures atleast your getting it done....cant wait to get my snood hahaa
Weird to see you film this video, I grew up round the corner from the ground and the player wall featured has my brother in it, he's the keeper on top left as you showed it 👍
Amazing video brings back memories
Cheers!
Great video buddy. 10/10 for pronunciation 👍
Amazing! Finally I've pronounced something correctly!

You did extremely well Sam with
the saying of Clachnacuddin's name it was spot on.
I seen Clacnacudan live back in 2012 in a Scottish Cup game at Summerset Park
Ayr United winning 2 - 1 that afternoon to be fair to Clachnacuddin they brought doon a good travelling support that afternoon to Summerset Park.
Your video was excellent Sam
Grant Street Park looks like a lot of Junior grounds myb very slightly better than that but not to much between the quality of
Grant Street Park & the better Junior grounds.
Last time I was in Inverness I went to see
The Highland Derby in 2016 it was the tamist derby game you could ever come across both on & off the park both clubs struggling in
The Scottish Prem at the time The I.C.T fans where vocal & noisy enough buck
The Ross County fans only started sing when they drew level late in the game.
A lot of Ross County fans live in Inverness it's self Digwall being an extremely small town.
Clachnacuddin refers to a stone tub apparently in Inverness I wonder if it still exists & whare in Inverness it is if it dose.
Last time I was in Inverness we where on our way back to The City Centre from
The Caladonian Stadium & our Taxi driver was a Moroccan he was a
Raja Casablanca fan he was telling us how hostile there rivalry with Wydad Casablanca it sound extremely intense I had heard of Raja Casablanca before but not Wydad because Eurosport ued to show Highlights of African Champions League games a few decades ago.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raja_CA
Casablanca derby could be a video idea in the future.
Of all the places to meet a Raja Casablanca fan though in Inverness you just never know how you will come across when you travel about.
I.C.T & Ross County next I am guessing.
Keep Safe Sam.
Wow yeah the Casablanca derby would be amazing! Thanks for watching as ever, and glad I got the name right for once haha! Just uploaded my Inverness CT video!
Says Clachnacuddin correctly - but Gaelic wrong (Gaylick is Irish GaaLic is scottish) :D
That was a quickie. I wouldn't have thought that Inverness could support two big clubs, but it does. There was the short lived team of Inverness City that played junior football but seemed to have folded recently.
Shame to hear they've folded. But yeah Inverness has quite a few teams as does the Highlands in general! Been filming at ICT, Ross County and Brora the past few days
@@FootyAdventures Looking forward to seeing ICT, Ross and especially Brora
Good video once again
legend, thanks mate
@@FootyAdventures no problem mate keep up the good work
You should be knighted Sam 👍🦁...great videos... really appreciate your time and effort...... respect from millwall smithy 👍🦁
Cheers for still watching mate! Will definitely get down to the den eventually!
Great video. Be interesting to see if they ever draw ICT in the cup or if they get promoted a few times
That would be great to see a highland derby like that!
Yess Come on Clach!!!
🙌👍cheers mate!!
amazing thanks for the videos
No worries, thanks for watching!
@@FootyAdventures what a great start of 2021 by discovering your YT channel!!! I'm watching all your videos today
@@jonwalts2763 nice! Much appreciated. Personal faves of mine are Sparta Prague and like all my Scottish ones!
Love this channel
Nice I'm glad thank you 😊👍
I used to live on Telford Street where the old cally Thistle used to play and the only thing left of cally when they merged was they painted the toilet in cally colours. Sergie Baltatcha was thistle manager at the time.
Caledonian played at Telford Street. And Inverness Caledonian Thistle for a season or two.
I visited the retail park that now remains on their old ground! Inverness Caley Thislte video coming tomorrow!
Why are you calling the enclosure at the Clach park a stand it is terracing.
Great video!
Thanks!
Makes me proud when you say Scottish words lol
Haha nice!
Nice looking wee ground
Cheers dude 🥃
Thank you! Cheers!
Well there you go, I thought the Cluddie were merged at the same time and went out of existence. Thanks for that. When everything starts up again this looks like a good day out....Mon the Cluddie
I’ve got an under 12s game next week and I’m playing in that stadium
good vid mate !!!
Thanks!
brilliant
Thanks!
😎😎
👍🙌🔥🤪
I play for Clach 🤩
Visit Harlaw Park in Inverurie
Caledonian fc merge with inverness to make what is today inverness Caledonia thistle fc. it merged with club in 1994 were some fans opposed of the merge and in 1996-97 season the club changed its name to Inverness Caledonian Thistle F.C
Yep, absolutely! All that info coming soon in a video ;)
When’s the Fort William episode?
Judging by the weather here at the moment probably in the summer lol
Impressive pronunciation.
Thanks! That doesn't happen too often!
@@FootyAdventures you're going native.
@@kildogery 🏴😂
Great videos should look at doing one on the worst team in Britain fort William fc
Yeah, I'll be going up there once the weather improves a bit!
I play for them
Oh cool!
Lol Noooooo you don't 😂😂😂
When you all the highland league team
I've got ICT, Ross County and Brora videos coming in the next few days. As for the rest of the highland teams, probably in spring!
You should go to wick when u was at brora
@@scottmckenzie365 yeah Wick is a trek, should really have bagged that while he was at least near!
You are wrong about 3 teams !
There was a 4th Highland League team in Inverness called Citadel FC.
My grandfather played for them and I have photos.
Suggest you update your video
I’ve been there pies were shite
T more unnecessary din that passes off as music, time to switch off again 😊
