    Congrats on your business. I have some tips on the banana pudding itself, do not mix in the whipped cream, fold it in and you can stop the browning of bananas with lemon juice.

    Very nice video. Do you think being that careful laying the wafers and bananas is effective? Couldn't you just dump them on without being neat just to speed up the process. It would look and taste the same no matter what since you're scooping out large mixed amounts anyway. Just curious. Have you tried different preparation methods? Which one works best for you?

    • @lisahwangg
      @lisahwangg  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! That’s a great question - I’ve definitely tried the dump method and thought it didn’t matter initially, but I was wrong! I think doing it meticulously and packing it in the container exactly as is gives the customer the same experience in every single bite. At least to me, it made a huge difference

      I bought bananas that were just right before they were ripe, so they don’t go bad too quickly, and I find that a little bit of tart in the banana was good since it’ll absorb the sugar in the pudding mix & cookies anyways :) when I put them in the pudding, they last pretty well!

    • @lisahwangg
      @lisahwangg  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi thanks for asking!! I’m sure other people have a more efficient way, but I just check the number of orders I have frequently, especially in the morning & before I sleep. If I think it’s getting close to the amount I want to produce, I’ll make a cut off & say I’m sold out for the week!
      Also i have a friend who runs a business too , she’ll receive an order from Google form, but request payment only after confirmation, so that way if she’s capped, she can let them know that she’s sold out before anyone pays

      @@lisahwangg 🥲😮 yeah I used a Cheaper one sold for $3.49 at Sams Club yesterday but it has less butter fat so my pudding didn’t come out nice and fluffy like it usually does 🤷🏾‍♀️

      @@ccr6088 tally up all the money it took to make the batch of pudding then divide it by a feasible number and sell your pudding over that amount to make a profit. How many did you make? That’s the number you divide by And yes ppl sometimes leave bananas out and just use the extract because bananas go bad so fast. Blending it into the pudding is a pretty good idea

      @@sylamsyntax23 lawd I made way too
      Much of each batch. I used 8oz deli containers. I learned my lesson. Right now I’m buying from the store but then I plan on buying majority of my food from wholesale suppliers like Restaurant Depot, so I’m going to do my budget off of the pricing from wholesale.
      Only thing I’ll by from the store is a spice cake i put in the pudding because it is the cheapest I’ve found.
      I add a lot of funky stuff like Magnolia Bakery does
      Sprinkles, walnuts, brownies 😬plus I also make fried pies, lemonade, and agua Fresca that’s why it’s taking me too long plus I make life difficult
