My siblings were only like 3-5 years old at the time when I played this, so they only served as a very brief diversion for like the first 2 stages haha 🤣
I think it's the rarity of the game. You don't normally come across a Toypop unless you visit Galloping Ghost, a classic arcade in Japan, or some avid Namco collector.

This was a new one on me, just got a release on Switch. It's a fun one if you enjoy the era. Pacman meets Solomons Key with a touch of shooter. Gotta love how games you never knew about turn up to be played. 🙋🏻♂️

Yall need to put pino and achea in super Mario bros they would be great op for them or Mario and luigi be op in toy pop and go to bowser castle princess peach 🤩🤩🤩🤩
The gratest view is set to 60fps, but this not support for 4k, Nick, does it have continues and other players such as Mark, Mr Mario and others can play?
This video does have a 4K option, although it's not like the game itself is 4K. This game has unlimited continues in 2p, but in 1p, it sends you to the start of the game when you get game over. I don't plan to play this with Mark or MrMario, but even if I did, I don't think I would make another video of this game.
Are you both aying on one console? I just got the game and I can't play local co-op. Even though the title screen says "Pino and Acha", as if player 2 has joined, Acha never appears in the game for me. No matter where I look online, no one else seems to be having this problem.
It sounds to me like you're pressing the start button for player 1 instead of player 2. It's unclear to me which method you're using to play it, but if it was MAME, you would press 2 (default controls), which is player 2's start key, instead of 1.

Likely it was sold as a board only to be installed inside an existing cabinet

Had this game on the Namco Museum disc. Took forever but ended up beating it with my dad when I was like 7 or 8. Man how time flies. I’m 24 now 😳

funny that a 1986 namco game looks like an 8 bit game but 1982 xevious and pole position are basically 16 bit looking games...very funny

There's clone called Majikazo for MSX, ColecoVision, ZX Spectrum and probably for PC and Mac too. MSV and CV versions are awesome.
