Hi Leslie and thank you for the inspiring podcast! Greetings from Moscow, Russia🇷🇺 My way to fit my gauge to the pattern is as follows: - find the bust circumference you want in the pattern in cm; - calculate how many st do you have in your swatch in 1 cm; - calculete how many st do you need to make this many cm; - in the text of the pattern find the line where the amount of bust stitches is mentioned - and find the number that is closest to the previously calculated amount of stitches; - That is the size you need to knit!
The colors you chose are stunning !! I love yours more than the examples they had for the pattern . Beautiful. And it looks so dreamy soft, and with a flowing drape.
I always enjoy your podcast The fact that you are making the Ballerina sweater caused me to remember that I had bought a kit for that a long time ago. I have no idea why I never made it but when I saw yours I had to start. You are so right about how this pattern is brilliant and it's construction is so compelling that I can hardly put it down. It is going to be a really useful sweater and I think I am done with super wash yarn. I do a lot of spinning and I do love natural wool but this has really convinced me that I would just assume not work with over processed wonder bread Merino.
Hi Leslie, I am new to your podcast but started from the very first one. So it may take me awhile to catch up to your current episodes. I have so been enjoying listening to you share all your makes and interesting mini tutorials. I understand all about what you are going through as your Mom deals with Alzheimer’s. I cared for Mom for five years and my sister would travel about four times a year to come visit. I always enjoyed having her support and company, and so did Mom. ❤ I heard you mention once that you were considering or was it you had started the Masters program. I wish you well, and look forward to hearing all about it. Thank you for sharing your personal life and family too. My husband and I have been married 42 yrs and had three children. Two boys and the youngest is our daughter but in May 2024, it will be a year since one of our son’s passed away. Anyway, that’s just a peek into my life. Thank you for your enjoyable podcast. P.S. Also, Mom taught me how to knit continental before she was diagnosed with Alzheimers back in 2015. It’s been a blessing to have the craft of knitting and crochet throughout my life. Take care, StitchedbyMimi
Hi sweet Mimi! Thank you so much for stopping by and for your very kind and thoughtful comment. You are just the sweetest. I am so so sorry for your loss. My heart broke when I read your words. I truly can't imagine. We had a similar experience with our sweet moms. Hard but even in her dementia state my sisters and I were grateful just like I imagine you were. Big hugs sweet friend. xx
My favorite podcast… I’m always so excited when I see a new episode.. Your knitting is beautiful..I’m in a little knitting slump.. lost our beloved dog last week, I can’t seem to pick up anything I was working on when he was around…. so I just ordered the wool and the gang yarn to make the pop cardigan.. so my taste .. I love blacks and grays too. Thanks for another great podcast.. love the hint for knitting gauge!!
Oh, Belinda... I'm so sorry about your beloved dog. I know how hard that is. When we lost our dog, Trouble, I literally just sat and stared into space most of the time. I had zero energy to do anything. Big hugs to your heart. And please reach out when you are ready to start your PopLife Cardigan. I made some modifications you may be interested in. xx
The ballerina sweater is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your "fails" as well; it makes me think maybe I can do some of the more challenging projects you do.
That swish 💃🥰 love that pop of colour too. I also stick within my colour palette. Black and camel wrap will be timeless. Knitting in the car is hysterical but something I would do if I had the chance, not enough stopping on my commute 🤣🤣 I micro swatch and aim for a fabric I like rather than trying to meet gauge (if I don’t get it or don’t like the fabric) and then choose a pattern size that gives me the dimensions I want if I don’t meet gauge.
That Ballerina is beautiful, so stylish. Definitely want to knit that cardigan and my daughter would like it too. Thanks for sharing 😍it’s always a treat when you podcast , always inspiring. Cheers from Australia 😘
Awe. Thanks Dianne! Let me know if you knit the PopLife Cardigan! I have made some modifications that make it easier to knit and will make it easier to finish. Happy knitting, friend! xx
I’ve always loved your intro music. Charlie did a great job! I know many people will gasp, but I get the water out of my knits by throwing them in the spin cycle of my washing machine and then lay flat to dry. I’ve never had an issue and it saves so much time and energy not having to wrap in a towel and stomp on them.
The Ballerina sweater is stunning ! Love the pop of colour you used too. Ill be writing down that gauge math too, like you say - knit wise !! Thanks for being a Friend to knit with !!
Awe... thank YOU Julie for stopping by! I can't wait to try out the formula. If it works than life just got a little more fun! ☺️ Happy knitting, friend! xx
Oh Leslie, I always enjoy your podcasts and look forward to them because you are so sunny and upbeat. You also look amazing and I would love to hear more about how you maintain your fitness…you mentioned swimming….what else do you do to help keep physically well? I know we share the mental health boost…knitting. Best wishes from still sunny Uk. X
Awe! Thank you sweet Fin! Such kind words. Yes! Knitting totally is what keeps my mind calm! Lately my exercise of choice is swimming and only swimming. I am a pretty low impact person though so if its not swimming its yoga or pilates. I also am a vegetarian and have been for about 18 years. And a few years ago I gave up dairy (although I will occasionally have pizza, I mean come on! ☺️) to help with my asthma and it was a game changer. On a different note, I ADORE your country and maybe one day will be back on your soil! Because travel is so important! Happy knitting, friend! xx🧡🧡
Talk about dream wraps! I LOVE YOUR HALD +HALF WRAP!! Omg it is totally the colours for my wedding and I so want to wear one just like this as my wedding wrap! I fell in love with this the first time you showed it.. it is perfect if you ask me! Love you podcast as usual it was well done!
You started me on scribbles last year and I became obsessed😃 I will do more around Christmas. I will be starting the half and half wrap soon and will follow your tip for the edges. I love your sweater you are making for your daughter, looks cozy and comfy. I always look forward to your podcasts😍😎
💐 Hi Friend~ my fail knitting was the half and half wrap~ I had knitted for a bit ~ put down, found drop stitches ~ pick back up ~ really loose stitches~ almost first ball complete but I wasn’t pleased about the way the stitches looked ~ so I frogged~ my color choices are Rose Granite and Twig Brown~ Thank you for scrubby idea~ I knit the pattern Grandma Favorite Dish Cloth~ every chance I get ~ I am a novice knitter ~ I appreciate the great ideas you give out~ And having a friend to knit with 💐 you are the best 💐
Awe. Thank you sweet Emma! Will you be picking up the Half and Half again? Those colors sound lovely! I frogged my first one, too! Then I was so much happier when I picked it up and the stitches looked better. I was knitting continental AND english style and it was a wreck! 😂 Happy knitting, friend!🧡
Hi Leslie I was inspired to knit the Thea sweater after your last podcast and finished the small size in a peach cotton bamboo yarn (because I live in the South and it’s hot!) I enjoyed the construction including the provisional cast on and sewn bind off so I am planning to make more versions of this versatile tee in other fabrics. Thank you always for the knitting tips. Enjoy your podcast.
Beautiful Ballerina! You are tempting me with the Purl Soho wrap, all those colors options are very attractive and I loved knitting this yarn. Thank you for this very nice time I’m always having watching your podcasts!
I rarely use the recommended yarn in a pattern. I will usually follow the type like cotton, or wool but I may use a wool blend with alpaca etc. As long as i get gauge, or use the same weight of yarn like Aran or fingering the pattern works out fine
i really had to laugh at your mentions of capabilities and fails - yesterday i spent hours trying out basic shawls, and failed on each one. basic shawls! your “ballerina” is beautiful. have a good trip to fla!
I also look forward to the Vogue Knitting magazine! The Ballerina is beautiful. Your half & half triangle wrap is in my colors. That is on my knitting project list in exactly your colors. Always enjoy your episodes.
Oh thank you, Susanne! And, remember those 3 edge stitches when you start your half + half... they really make all the difference! Happy knitting, friend. xx
You swim!! It’s so good for you. Aww..I miss it and the Olympics brought back old memories of competitive swimming. You always have such pretty FOs and great little ideas that you pass on. Thank you!
The best, right?! I only swam on a summer swim team but in high school and college for exercise. It's been my number one favorite forever. Although, I do love yoga and pilates. All of the soft impact movement! 🤩
@@LeslieFriend I will definitely check out your blog post. My kit should arrive this coming week and I am excited to get back to knitting! Thank you for posting your beautiful sweater.
I adore your Ballerina sweater and desperately want to make one but at 5'2" I'm afraid it would swallow me up. I share your aesthetic and generally steer towards muted colors - camel being my favorite. Now I have a black/camel 1/2&1/2 triangle wrap on my brain. Thanks for the idea.
You are so much fun! you're knitting are so wonderful including the epic fail. I knitted an Oslo hat using Önling yarn and it was huge lol and had to recake to try again. It's all part of it right. Have a nice trip to your son's new school. Hope he has a great year!
Oh, Hi Sandy! I hope to run into you, too! I just finished my daughters Pop Life and made some adjustments since my first one. It really made finishing easier so if you are interested I willl have the mods on Ravely and my blog asap. Happy knitting, friend! xx
I love your Ballerina sweater!! I am going to try that pattern. Ooooh I hope I see you at Rhine beck. I am staying with my daughter and she is coming to the festival with me🥰
Love all your projects! That ballerina cardigan is quite something! Thank you for sharing your knitting tips-will have to check out that formula. Happy your podcast came up while looking for info on the half and half wrap!
Thank you. Just ordered the Pop Life Cardigan kit! Even received a discount. Can’t wait as yours looks even better than the pattern picture. Love your podcast!
Thank YOU, Cyndie! Excited for your Pop Life Cardigan! I've learned some things while making this one. Truly will make it easier to finish and is easier to knit. I knit the two front pieces simultaneously and then joined the back after doing the increases for the neck. Please reach out if this doesn't make sense! Also, mine is shorter. I can share the measurements when I am finished! xx
That Ballerina is just beautiful and such a classic piece, gorgeous 👌 It’s interesting what you say about colour; I’m a fairly recent knitter and find that I see all the colourful, beautifully crafted hand dyed yarn and have instantly hit the purchase button! However, it is now sitting in my stash and I’m thinking ‘I just don’t wear that that much colour’, what was I thinking?! I’ve finally twigged that I need to stay in my lane and go for the basics of navy, red, grey etc (you get the picture!) so that I know they’ll get worn. That also plays into the patterns - ‘knitting me’ wants the challenge of some of the lace items that you see BUT it’s not something I’d buy in a shop but I would appreciate the design and work in it, doesn’t mean I have to wear it!! I know my style leans more classic/preppy, that’s what I love to wear so that’s what I should knit 😊 Apologies for the ramble, your style and colour choice just got me thinking. Thanks for another 30 min break, Take care, Kim x
Oh, Kim! Glad to know I'm not alone! I, too, have many bright yarns in my stash and I know that I enjoy them so much... but not on my body! 😊🤩 Thanks for stopping by, friend! xx
I love your ballerina sweater, it’s so exciting to see designs from a designer that I didn’t know before your podcast. I also love VogueKnitting and am going to try to make the Hobnail sweater in a deep blue color. Wish me luck!
Yipppppeeeee! I've learned some things while making this one. Truly will make it easier. I knit the two front pieces simultaneously and then joined the back after doing the increases for the neck. Please reach out if this doesn't make sense! Happy Knitting, Sue! xx
The Ballerina has such a beautiful drape. I thought it might be cashmere, until you said it was Shetland. I'm waiting to buy Shetland when someday (soon?) we can travel there.
What an adorable podcast. I LOVE all of the ideas! I am almost finished with my 1/2-1/2. I am using Heirloom White and Pink Pop as to me these are HAPPY colors and I love it. Isn't it wonderful there are so many color choices, so we can each find what makes it fun!! My next one is going to be maybe Tumeric Yellow and Mushroom. .
Awe. Thank you! and OOOOOHHHHH I LOVE the heirloom white with any color! The combinations are so fantastic. And your yellow and mushroom... SWOON! 🧡 Happy knitting, friend! xx
Love love love your ballerina sweater!!! Looks so professionally done. I enjoy your podcasts, they motivate me every time ! Also I ordered the Pop Life cardigan kit. Cant wait! Thank you
Thank you, Anne! Excited you ordered the Pop Life Kit! I've learned some things while making this one. Truly will make it easier to finish and I find this way easier to knit. I knit the two front pieces simultaneously and then joined the back after doing the increases for the neck. Please reach out if this doesn't make sense! Happy knitting, friend! 🧡
Love your podcast! This one was excellent. I copied your gauge formula you shared …. And I ordered the ballerina cardigan!! I love it! Just a bit nervous it might take me 2yrs to knit on such small needles. But I gotta have it!! 😀
Leslie, I have a friend that I used to call or sit with when we both got a Vogue Knitting issue and we would pour over it together; I would look over yarns, construction and color trends and my friend would be picking out the most crazy unusual style they featured and purchase what she needed!😃😂👏🏼… seeing you hold up the newest issue brought to me that memory 🤔🥰… ty for that …….. me:🤔need to purchase new issue of VK and give Margaret a call…👏🏼🥰🧶…
I too am a neutral gal with a pop of colour. So much easier to mix and match that way too!! Absolutely love the Ballarina but as I am a shortie (5’1”) that would def swim on me. I would love to see your Sister in it for sure. The Poplife would be a great knit instead!!
Hi Monika! Oh, I'm so glad to know another neutral lover! 😍 I will let you know how my sister looks it it... if you end up making a poplife cardigan, i made some modifications that made the finishing so much easier. I'll be posting on ravely and my blog so if you are interested be suer to check there! happy knitting, friend. xx
Love your esthetic and your classic color choices! 🧡 I recently ordered the Pop Life Cardigan. Glad to know I’m on point!😉 I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
Good morning to you! I watched just this morning and I was wondering how your Thea top turned out. Thank you for sharing your mistake in the yarns. I also picked out the wrong yarn in the beginning and needed to rip it out. I settled into one from leftovers (Sandnes Garn) and it worked out much nicer. However, picking up the required stitches for the arm holes was an issue and they turned out way too long for me. I did do the recommended edge, the tubular bind off, that was a lot of work as it was new to me and I don’t want to try to take that out. I am hoping that I can pass this top along to a family member. I might make another one because I did love the construction. I did like the Petite Knit Sunday top you showed but didn’t understand what was the issue there. I enjoy your show and hope that your car trip knitting goes well.
Thank you so much Susan! And so glad your THEA top turned out. I had a friend whose armholes were HUGE she had to frog her sweater. She couldn't even tighten them up with the ribbing. SO frustrating. I look forward to trying again although I may leave off the cast on and tubular bind off as I'm not sure that top needs that much love. haha! Happy knitting, friend! 🧡
@@LeslieFriend , i just watched sticks and twine podcast who is attempting a “clean it up” kal so I will be taking off the armhole ribbing and redoing this top. I really like it an hope to salvage it for me. I will not do the tubular edging this time.
You always knit the most beautiful garments!!! So inspiring! May I ask what pattern you use for the scrubbies? I have only crocheted one and I didn’t find it enjoyable as it was hard to see the hole to put the hook in. Knitting would be easier I think.
Hi there Tanya! Yes! I"m so sorry I forgot to link here. Last year I made so many and felt like I devoted a whole podcast to them! 😂😂😂 www.themakeyourownzone.com/round-knit-scrubby-pattern/ Watch out though... they are contagious! ☺️😍 Happy knitting, friend! xx
leslie what you do with scrubbies at stoplights, i do with a vanilla sock! i find it makes me less annoyed when the light goes red. it's perfectly reasonable!
I so enjoy your podcast and have learned so much! Thank you for sharing your talent. Any tips on becoming better at reading a pattern? I feel that is my biggest challenge now.
HI! Thank you for the sweet words! Hmmmm. Do you have a local yarn store? I would recommend stopping by and asking them to help decipher it. It just always helps to talk about it with someone else! 💛
Hi Leslie, I love seeing you pop up on my feed!… so I knit while waiting to pump gas, and if I’m at bumper to bumper traffic, I mean if you’re going to be idle why not?.. 🤷🏻♀️🤔 I feel like we’ll be judged 😂😂💕
Hi there, Pat! Here is the pattern for the scrubbies. Sorry forgot to link here! www.themakeyourownzone.com/round-knit-scrubby-pattern/ Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet words! xx
I have a ballerina in two colors now I need to knit one like yours. I have that vogue book. My favorite go to. Where is your son going to college in Florida? You and I like a lot of the same styles, but I think I’m older than you.
Hi Leslie. I love your podcast so much, so inspiring. Your ballerina is the kit 19, right? Is it possible to change the pop color in the kit or did you buy another ball?
Hi! Yes! kit 19! They certainly should let you change the color... I ended up ordering the pistachio after I ordered the kit and was bummed I didn't ask them to just switch it out. It is totally worth the ask! Thanks for stopping by and would love to hear about your progress on it if you end up making one! 🧡🧡
Hi there thanks for the formula but I guess the only variable is the “cast on” #. What cast on # would you use? The cast on # for the size “you want to make”?
Hi Suzanne! SO... I guess after you do the swatch and you figure out what size you think you should make... then you would take the gauge and cast on the size closest to the number you get. I hope that makes sense. ☺️
Hi Leslie! Please I need your help. I'm doing the half and half your way. I have broken color A - starting Triangle 2, where I am adding new ball color B. I'm not sure what row I am doing the yarn in front , slip 3, turn. Joing row was dissolving 2 stitches at a time. 2nd row knit to end which is the wrong side. Am I doing yfs3 on the right side. Thank you very much . I just love to watch you
Oh leslie your is wonderful!! Do you know if i can purchase the pattern without buying the wool? It's too far away for me, as i live in italy. Thank you🙂
Hi there, if you mean the Ballerina, I already contacted the website (I live in Scotland). Unfortunately, they said it was not their policy to issue the pattern alone. It is only sold as a kit. 🙁
Waaoo ballerina is haute couture Leslie 👏👏👏👏👏 love colors grey camel white too 😊 waiting for the next episod!!
Well, aren't you just the sweetest, Betsy? Thank you! Happy Knitting, friend!
Hi Leslie and thank you for the inspiring podcast! Greetings from Moscow, Russia🇷🇺
My way to fit my gauge to the pattern is as follows:
- find the bust circumference you want in the pattern in cm;
- calculate how many st do you have in your swatch in 1 cm;
- calculete how many st do you need to make this many cm;
- in the text of the pattern find the line where the amount of bust stitches is mentioned - and find the number that is closest to the previously calculated amount of stitches;
- That is the size you need to knit!
ohhhhhhH! Thank you SO much for this! I will definitely try this out! I hope everyone else reads it too! 😍😍😍 Happy knitting, friend! xx
Excellent idea!
Great idea right what I needed for a tee I would like to make and I am not getting gauge.
The colors you chose are stunning !! I love yours more than the examples they had for the pattern . Beautiful. And it looks so dreamy soft, and with a flowing drape.
Thank you Heather! I can't wait till the weather warms up to get it back into rotation! 💛💛💛
I just love the colors of you half and half. I hope to build my knitting confidence up this year!
The ballerina sweater is fantastic! 🤩🤍🤍🤍
You are like a yarn ball of sunshine... err... I mean pistachio! You always make me feel so excited to knit! Thank you for sharing your light. 🌞

The best, right?! I only swam on a summer swim team but in high school and college for exercise. It's been my number one favorite forever. Although, I do love yoga and pilates. All of the soft impact movement! 🤩
Your Ballerina is just gorgeous and I love the pop of colour. Loved the show ❤️
Thank you, Carol! xx💛
New subscriber. Love this sweater/coat. May be beyond my current knitting skills. But it’s lovely!
Awe! Thank you for subscribing, Valerie! Happy knitting, friend!💛
Beautiful sweaters, Leslie. I love your Pop Life cardigan and had to buy the kit myself to try and make one too!
Yay! I have made some modifications if you are interested you can check out my ravelry page and/or blog. Will be posting today! 🧡
@@LeslieFriend I will definitely check out your blog post. My kit should arrive this coming week and I am excited to get back to knitting! Thank you for posting your beautiful sweater.
I always learn something new (to me, anyway) when I watch your podcast. Great episode, as always!
Thank you sweet Renna! 💛
I am going to see what it looks like on my sister who is your exact height! Thanks for stopping by, friend! 🧡
The ballerina sweater is gorgeous!!
Thank you Carol! xx
I love your Ballerina! I definitely need to knit one for myself. I love the pistachio color as well. 🤩
Thank you sweet Gretchen! 💛
You are so much fun! you're knitting are so wonderful including the epic fail. I knitted an Oslo hat using Önling yarn and it was huge lol and had to recake to try again. It's all part of it right. Have a nice trip to your son's new school. Hope he has a great year!
Awe... So sweet! Yep... the fails are all part of it! 🤪 Happy knitting friend! xx🧡
Love the information you generously share. Thank you I also don’t swatch enough!
Non Swatchers unite! HAHA! Thanks for stopping by Kathryn! xx
I have been known to knit and drive as well! 😂
Leslie, I really enjoy your podcast and just ordered a Pop Life cardigan kit. Thanks for the inspiration! Hope to run into you at Rhinebeck.
Oh, Hi Sandy! I hope to run into you, too! I just finished my daughters Pop Life and made some adjustments since my first one. It really made finishing easier so if you are interested I willl have the mods on Ravely and my blog asap. Happy knitting, friend! xx
@@LeslieFriend I would love see your mods for the Pop Life! My yarn should arrive soon
Thank you for a great episode with so much inspiration😃 The jacket you had on is geourges🤩
Awe. Thank YOU for stopping by! xx
I love your ballerina sweater!
Thank you Rona! xx
I love your Ballerina sweater!! I am going to try that pattern. Ooooh I hope I see you at Rhine beck. I am staying with my daughter and she is coming to the festival with me🥰
Yay! I hope I see YOU at Rhinebeck, too! 😍
Love all your projects! That ballerina cardigan is quite something! Thank you for sharing your knitting tips-will have to check out that formula. Happy your podcast came up while looking for info on the half and half wrap!
Thank you Carol! Happy Knitting to you, friend! xx💓
I can share the measurements when I am finished! xx
I love your ballerina coat! I have been eyeing a few onling kits for a while now. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hanne is truly a genius! Thanks for stopping by, friend! Happy knitting!
OOOOOOH! A blue Hobnail!💙💙💙 Please keep me posted, Anne! Happy Knitting! xx
Gorgeous knits Leslie!! You are always so kind and inspiring!! xo
Awe. Thanks friend! 💛xx
Yayyyyy!!!! So happy your video popped up!! Watching now! ❤️
Awe. SO sweet. Thanks for watching, friend! 🤸♀️
Oh Leslie, I always get in trouble watching you! You have great taste and I love your style. Just ordered my kit from Wool and the Gang.❤️
Oooooooh. That really is something to look forward to! Thanks for stopping by, Billie! xx💛
Great podcast- beautiful sweaters and useful tips.
Thank you so much, Stephanie! xx
Just love your style, manner, information, projects! Thanks!
Well, that is just the sweetest! THANK YOU! And thanks for stopping by! 🧡
I love your podcast! So excited to see an update. Thank you Leslie
Awe. Thank you for stopping by Rachel! xx
Hi Brenda! YAY! We are going to be twins! Always here if you have any questions with the ballerina! 💛😍😍
Awe. I love that story! Yes... please call Margaret ASAP! ☺️😍
I'll be posting on ravely and my blog so if you are interested be suer to check there! happy knitting, friend. xx
GORGEOUS sweater. bought a kit last time you showed it!!!! Hope mine comes out as well as yours!!!
Awe. Thank you Mindy! I'm sure it will! Let me know if you ever get "stuck". Maybe I can help out! Happy knitting! xx🧡

Just came across your channel and loved this episode 😍 might have to look into every pattern you spoke about 🧶😬 best wishes from Germany
☺️🤩 Thanks for watching, friend! Happy Knitting! xx
I will not do the tubular edging this time.
wow very nice
Many many thanks Debra!

Watch out though... they are contagious! ☺️😍
Happy knitting, friend! xx
The formula is “gold”!
Thanks so much!
Yay! I hope it works for me. Thanks for stopping by, Joan! xx
leslie what you do with scrubbies at stoplights, i do with a vanilla sock! i find it makes me less annoyed when the light goes red. it's perfectly reasonable!
YAY!!!! I LOVE knowing a fellow red light knitter! 😍 Happy knitting Rachel!💜
Gorgeous
Thank you Donna! 💛
Glad I'm not alone, Liz! I can't bare to waste a minute! ☺️💛
Beautiful sweaters… I want to make both of them!
What pattern did you use for the scrubbies.
LOVE YOUR PODCASTS,!
Hi there, Pat! Here is the pattern for the scrubbies. Sorry forgot to link here! www.themakeyourownzone.com/round-knit-scrubby-pattern/
Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet words! xx
I have a ballerina in two colors now I need to knit one like yours. I have that vogue book. My favorite go to. Where is your son going to college in Florida? You and I like a lot of the same styles, but I think I’m older than you.
Hi! YAY! Don't you just love the Ballerina! Such a classic knit. My son is going to UWF in Pensacola Fl. 💛 Happy Knitting, friend! xx
I keep a small project bag in my car with socks in it! (I HATE wasting time! Always have busy hands!!)
Yay. Glad to know I'm not alone. 🤩🧡😍
I recently learned that matching yards/weight is just as important because that will address “dense” issue.
You are a beautiful knitter. Wow
Awe. You are so sweet. Thank you so much Sandi! Happy knitting to you, friend! xx
Your Ballerina sweater is a piece of ART 💙 thanks so much for sharing the formula 💙
Thank you Maria! Happy Knitting! xx
I think Inga uses that same ratio for gauge!
I haven't tried it yet but I think its a winner! Happy Knitting, Julie! xx
I just love to watch you
Hi Donna! Remember to only slip the LAST 3 stitches not the first 3. I hope this helps. Please let me know! 💜
LOL I want to make a navy/white one like yours ;) Neutral-lovers unite! xo
HA!☺️😍 YOURS is the BOMB! xx
Thank you very much for the kind reply. 🙂
Such a bummer they won't sell just the pattern. 🥴
@@LeslieFriend I know. Maybe I’ll just have treat myself at Christmas!
@@LeslieFriend it's a pity😏
