Really well thought out. Not so surprising from a world class foiler at all disciplines who is also well schooled and passionate in the technical aspect of foils.
Been a huge fan of KT and Kane for awhile, can't wait to try the Atlas out in a month or so. This is one of the first design innovations for a foil since Alex Aguera and Kai Lenny figured out to make a bigger foil for SUP speeds. The deep camber at the trailing edge on the 960 Atlas wing for example actually lowers the stall speed by 2 or 3 mph compared to similar wings out there now, and still has a top speed at 30mph, also faster than almost every foil at that size. While all the other foil designers are making tweaks to aspect ratio, flattening small sections of their foil, or tweaking chord length, KT is truly innovating and is at least two years ahead of anyone in foil design. Also believe too many manufacturers are too heavily invested in their poor connections systems and crap M6 hardware to change. Hopefully KT's foil will help them see the light. Anyone else ready to order one of everything from KT?
