I think the gvt is to blame, they are corrupt, the issue of privatizing SOEs is also a big issue coz it means the employees get retrenched, private businesses don't have an obligation to fingt unemployment but theirs is to make profit. Borrowing money from IMF (71billion) in six months To fund their lifestyle and political party structures is just ridiculous. How will they pay it back?

    • @mduduzindlovu5196

@@Sky-dv8mj I think most businesses are largely owned by foreigners, however, the problem is the type of foreigner, people have issues with poor foreigners but will hide their tales when it comes to rich ones who control the government, as for me I am really not concerned about the location of poor foreigners. But I would like you to focus even on the processes of running a business, right now blacks can't imagine running successful businesses, all that we can think of is graduating and getting employed, that will go on forever unless people realise that the gvt isn't doing anything for blacks. The same rich people before apartheid are richer today.
Why? Because the status quo supports them. Look at the criteria of tenders, forget about the corruption going on, the fact is no black man can apply and get the tender unless some regulations are eased. Some will want you to have millions to fund the project then u get paid after a certain section is done, that means even if you are skilled, already thousands of blacks are cut out.

They'll insist on increasing to their own interest than helping employees and employers, until it gets to the point where retrenchment is the final decision. Unions are also a problem in this economy.

No one is blaming foreigners for unemployment, what people are saying that with unemployment so high every job especially low skilled jobs should be prioritized for South Africans. Every one was up in arms when the government got Cuban engineers. South Africans can't even sell tomatoes 'cause there's hundreds of Zimbabweans already filled up the streets. Zimbabwe announced last year that informal sectors will only be reserved for Zimbabweans but in SA it's supposed to be a free for all.
We can't tell poor South Africans to make their Government responsible when you not telling the foreigners to hold their own Governments to accountability instead of crossing the borders.

After assisting me, I asked her where she come from and she said from South Africa, Durban. SAns from the continent if there are, at least few hundreds of them will be valuable back at home and everybody won't lack jobs, and will be like before the flood of migration. Things will go back where they were as SA didn't depend on the continent. It is the other way around. Whether there'll be a difficulty along the way but the strain of living a lie that is okay to be manipulated to please others while the suffering increases. And that SA is responsible for the millions of millions of poor people of the 54 countries of Africa is an abuse. That's why government like Zimbabwe, Malawi don't even try to care for their citizens and countries and it's unfair. We've never been so poor in SA, thanks to ANC, EFF, COSATU mainly and thanks to African governments.

Nah, we need to diversify our investments. Focusing economic activity to small regions and making sure it's only available to residents of those regions will yield detrimental results at best.
Migration is inevitable, but you need to make sure that opportunities are available in more places than just Gauteng and the Western Cape.
Additionally, I was only talking about a single point you made and that was about limiting work opportunities to the residents of a certain area. Your point was that it would eliminate the need for travel and stop us from using taxis. Please, oh wise one... inform me. What work would those who operate our broken (yet vital) transport system do? Would they have work suddenly appear before them? The problem that we face with unemployment is far more complicated than the location that work is granted in.

I live here in America I can’t work if I don’t have proper documentation is not because the people are xenophobic it’s the law so why should South Africa be different rule of law. I couldn’t work here in America until I had my documentation has anybody realized that they are quick to throw the xenophobic word each and every time this is discussed I wonder why?

You are very confused. Obviously there is an unsure number of illegal migrants. That 4% she is talking about are documented migrants. Some south africans want documented africans to leave as well...

If you have no borders you have no country.
If government allows 250,000 immigrants into the country no matter their race whether they are legal or illegal then where is the policy for one new school every day to accommodate the pupils with a constitutional right to education?
Where is the school to which every parent has a legal obligation to send their child?
Government cannot have it both ways.
Open borders are fine if government is honest about building of schools to meet the demand of every child within our borders.

Are they attending schools for free or they pay school fees, what of those at private institutions is it free or they pay, its like saying foreign nationals get social grants how???? or saying noe locals come to get food from RSA the question is are they getting the food for free or buying, if buying then it intra trade

Europe has no borders yet they are living in peace and they have jobs exceeding the amount of people they have yet here they are inforcing boarders in Africa so they can continue stealing from African resources - what does Division bring besides conflict and unhealthy relations with the next country so we can focus on fighting each other while they steal - that's how we were colonised and you want us to stay colonised - Wake up.

We are talking about illegal immigration nothing else. Do not mix issues and give examples of South African who are working legally in other countries. We want everyone who is in Mzanzi to be legal in orders to have control. We have so many illegal immigrants. People are suffering, being killed raped by unknown people and the police are unable to arrest them. You are so comfortable if one of your friends or family members can go through what poor citizens are experiencing. You will come again and sing a different tune. Be sensitive sister.

Haay my fellow South Africans she’s 100% right. Our government has failed us dismal shme without a doubt Nd it’s SAD,
all these foreigners that are here their government have all these policies put in place for their citizens to ensure they benefit it’s citizens, but with SA it’s benefiting them not SA citizens, what a vise versa 🤷🏽‍♀️

    • @teek1860
      @teek1860 2 ปีที่แล้ว

But you are missing the main point here, she is saying there are 4% of foreign nationals, of which we can assume that they are all employed which is unlikely,
Unemployment is at 46% if you take away the 4% foreign nationals, you are still left with 42% unemployment, who will we blame then? Because unemployment at that rate is still very high, so the focus is misguided, you are still focusing on the wrong thing .
Government is failing to create jobs or an environment which allows for job creation. It's faluire to implement policies to prioritize locals is one issue but it is not the real crux of the matter because 4% blame is little to solve unemployment problems.

I also had the same approach just as the lady here until I actually listened to uNhlanhla and realized that 'Dudula' is but ONE of the issues that He is bringing to our attention. His message is quite broad and directed towards the youth. It's a call to be hands on and to recreate our state that the ANC failed to manifest.
Confusing as it is for most, we also need to adopt that he's not leading a political movement but rather sounding the alarm on what South Africans ought to call a working democratic government.
Ultimately, we have all been robbed of our freedom through the manipulation of resources.
If we disregard the 4% now, what do you think will happen after 15 to 20 years 🤷‍♂️!
It's not like South Africans have options afterall!
As the youth, What exactly do we have to share ???
