Even tho I already know the secret, the performance it self is still very cool. I don't think I can act unbothered like those street performer after a long period of time.. Image the discomfort.. High props for them!

@@silvermanstatueofficial You can see you "shake" just a bit when you do your movements to thank the people dropping coins. So to me that means your "skill" requires a bit more muscle that this persons setup... then the fact you stand out there all day is just some serious dedication to your craft! Bravo!

Awesome!! Loved this explanation. Other reveals only show the make Up of the box on the ground, not the internal harness which is where the real magic is. I knew his entire body way it was being supported by some sort of harness because it would be impossible to last five minutes otherwise. Thank you sir for a very well done video

Witchcraft
Its a metal rod that goes up his arm's sleeve and runs down as a harness around his butt. Metal is holding him up through the arm. It even have a swivel.

I find this way more skillful and talented, than the actual trick!! I mean yes, I was initially like "wow, how's he doing that, he can't be that strong?!" (when I saw the performer in London) but this guy is actually way more impressive in my eyes!! This is some really skilled craftsmanship ❤️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Thank you for sharing 🙏🏽

I am very sad to read this this comment, I have seen the performer who created this act and I am following him on Tiktok. Is a severely sight impaired guy who really tries hard. While this guy just copied to ruin for his and make money.

I really like these type of videos where they show a glimpse of the result and make people wonder and continue to watch the video. It's very effective imo.

The key is 3:00 to 3:20. A metal bar attaches to the top of the shovel and then attaches to a harness which holds his weight. And no he doesn't need a fake hand like some street performers use.

@@naziaarshad9823 The shovel is welded on the square pipe, it keeps the shovel straight up all while supporting and stabilizing the performer's weight so he doesn't tip backwards or on the side. The metal bar attached on the shovel handle is curved so his arm can comfortably rest on it (like the arms of a chair), and the harness worn by the performer is attached to that bar, which completely prevents him from falling. The performer's arm resting on the curved bar, and the harness keeping him in place, allows him to make all the poses he wants without too much effort as seen at 4:55. The performer mainly uses his abdominal muscles to move his body in different angles, and to maintain his position for extended periods of time. When at rest, his body just stays straight up. Hope this helps.

@@LilRedRasta The performer appears to be putting weight on the bar under his sleeve when he's changing his position, it would be pretty difficult to pull off without doing that, let alone maintaining that position for an extended period of time. But yes, while I would expect the harness to hold the performer in place even if he's not resting his arm on the bar, it would make moving his body around and keeping his balance very difficult, if not impossible.
He wears New Balance shoes so that he can keep his balance 😁

Hmm, if it's like that... the weight is focused at the harness. Since it has a harness around the groin area, it puts less strain on the body. Might not actually hurt that much to be on that for long periods. Although you would need help getting down it looks like. Still a great trick. 👍

I very much agree with most of the comments that are on this feed. Is the ingenuity and the entertainment value of the performer that is truly what’s important. People don’t go to Disneyland and ask why the robots talk they know it’s a gimmick, but yeah, it’s entertaining to see. Shame on you for seeing you exposed somebody everyone on this planet knows this man doesn’t actually levitate. He’s just trying to make a living by doing something that would catch the eye of people.

I cannot see the part that has the measurements clearly all the way.....does anybody know them ? I assume it is aluminum type metal or can use various kinds. Any info?

Someone mentioned outside assistance with the cameraman. I just assumed there was some other way to get off, if you were flying solo anyway -- but that would probably need some additional design done
