April and May I fish a little larger on our stocked trout. as summer rolls around and I target more wild trout my fly box shrinks drastically. After the middle of May I'm mostly 16-20's in all my patterns.
You tied a great looking version of higas bug ,I've tied it I've sold lots of them but really honestly have not had much success with it my self. I've come to believe it's better suited for those western tail waters
I didn't tie this exact pattern. I have tied similar ones. It's hard constantly trying to find new and different content for a video every week. Especially when I'm over 450 videos now. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel

I think it’s a great looking bug, but I haven’t great success with it either on my home big western tailwater.
Did you do this one before, Shawn? I actually tied these awhile back and did pretty well. I thought I had gotten it from one of your videos!
