The pain in Jon's voice when he's talking to Davos, man.😢 I can't even imagine how that level of betrayal must feel. Love Tormund talking s**t but clearly being so happy he came back, they have one of my favorite friendships in the show.
If you remember, the last time we saw Osha and Rickon, Bran told them to go to the Umbers because they were Stark bannermen and they would protect them.
Loooove your GoT reaction . Raggedy Pack should always react as this trio. Igli usually has very clever ideas about people and the storyline. And the amount of movie and talk is nicely balanced, well done! Even watch intro and outro.
Fun fact: In the books, the character we know as Yara (Theon's sister) was named Asha. The showrunners decided to change her name for the show to avoid confusion among the viewers between Asha and Osha. In print, it's clear which is which, but when spoken (especially with some of the strong accents in the show), I can see how confusion could arise.
I can’t ever be mad at Olly for what he did. That boy saw the wildlings slaughter his village and entire family, then saw the wildlings slaughter so many more at the wall and had to fight for his own survival, he is more than justified in his anger and hatred. Imagine losing all the people you care about, and then watching the person you idolize and look up to making best friends with the wildlings that destroyed your life. Most adults wouldn’t be able to accept that, much less a child. Jon should have taken Olly aside and explained to him why they needed the wildlings for now, and that when the fighting was over, Tormund and anyone responsible for the slaughter of Olly’s village would pay. That would have been fair, that would have been justice. But Jon had his own biases and he ultimately failed Olly.
One of you asked how Pycelle continues to live. Go take a look at the deleted scene showing a convo between Pycelle and Tywin. It’s one of the funniest GOT scenes ever.
I think GRRM is on record saying Shae and Osha were better in the show than the books and he would have given them more stuff to do if he knew how much he'd like the actresses for those roles. Just a random aside.
Nah that's not Arthur Dayne, that's Woodes fucking Rogers. Yep, plugging some Black Sails love anyway I can. That show deserves GoT level of recognition. :)
I agree that the Great John was portrayed so well on the show by the actor and I always wanted to see him him back I think there are also other characters that they cut and details they left out that would have been interesting threads - the maesters for one (that one who was a bit fringe- I’ll leave it at that so as not to spoil) Also it would have been cool to get the other Iron Born brother and have Euron be more like the books I miss the summer islanders too
Blake eats like he has just spent weeks in the desert with Dany and the Dotrakis. lol BTW I never understood why there was at least 20 guys there when Jon was stabbed yet only four of them got hanged.
As far as what Beric said about losing a part of one’s self every time one is brought back…this isn’t that show anymore. We’re firmly in ‘this looks cool, fuck story logic’ seasons.
That is the best way to do an effective fart joke.. Theory that Meera is Jon Snow's twin..I believe it about 70% I agree with Blake's take on season 6..there is so much I enjoy about it, but cracks started showing as early as 5 for me..and love how you guys are allowing Igli his own experience before discussing them.. After season 6 is done, a quick video reaction to Westerosi Rhapsody would be so fun!! Xo
They said they wanted Jon to leave the wall with Stannis but knew the character couldn’t abandon his vow. So they had to find a way to complete that vow so he could leave. But this story was also still following the book mostly so there’s that too.
Hey, guys! Do you already know how it's gonna be starting next week the schedule for HOTD? I remember back in S1 you guys used to be one of the first channels to post your reactions every week. Can we expect HOTD reactions every monday morning this time? Or do you plan to do it differently?
Far be it from me to defend D&D, but Rickon, Osha and Shaggydog also dissapear from the books after they flee Winterfell. We don't know yet if they ever appear again because the books aren't released yet. Also there's a good chance that Greatjon will die "off screen" in the books as well because I think last time we see him, he's a prisoner of the Freys after the Red Wedding and we don't have any POV characters there as far as I remember. So I doubt we'll see him again before he dies. But I agree that Season 6, 7 and 8 feel like fanfiction rather than an adaptation. And in a sense they are because there are no book to adapt and we don't know how much Martin told D&D about his plans for the rest of the story. I can't say I dislike the enormous amount of fan service this season has though. Pretty much every single fan theory gets to see the light of day in S6 and on, which only increases the "fanfiction" feel about it.
it was cold and Jons blood pressure was non existent, so yah. bloody miracle it didnt frobit and fell off. ... which makes me worry of Book Jon's Johnson
The Wheel of Time is my favorite story ever told. I've never watched the show, though. Obviously you know my favorite character of all time based on my username, lol. I might have to give the show a watch, now.
Everybody hates Ollie but for me Ollie is the only one I cannot blame. (Edit, blame may not be the correct wording, but I understand his reasons) He is a child, whom saw his parents get slaughtered along with his village. Then here comes Jon, the man he is looking up to & take in the very people that took everything from him. I cannot blame him for feeling betrayed by Jon, although we know Jons reasons & that Jon is doing the right thing. But Ollie is just a kid that hasnt done developing, mentally & emotionally. The others though are old & "wise" enough to understand even though the long dark history behind them.

Blake.....Rickon's wolf is named Shaggydog. It's a nowhere story. Bran's wolf is Summer. But you'll say there was no foreshadowing right?
Blake looks great for being 47 years old !
Great episode. ❤ I love that you gentlemen actually take a breath and take in the scenes. Thanks 😊 for the fun 💙🦬

Tormund and Ser Davos are easily the best ride or die characters in the show. They are for me, anyway. Lol
Everyone over looks Dolores Ed - who was actually in the books too

Amazing series, super high quality wiriitng and outstanding visuals. Such an underrated show.
6 stab wounds, 4 executed...maybe the other 2 died when the wildlings showed up?
