  • Thylaman and the Marsupial Wolf take a 200km tour across the Adelaide Plains with the thermal cam to try to happen across a Thylacine. We planned to arrive at a recent Thylacine sighting as it becomes 'bite time'. Bite time is when the moon is directly above or directly below the earth's surface (overbite time/underbite time) and promotes feeding by the animals. This is based on marine life but seems to corelate with land based carnivorous predators also. It proved correct on this occasion as we spot a fox with prey in its mouth right on overbite time. We did not expect to see the dogs and it was upsetting to say the least.
WARNING! This is my second video edit. The audio is loud at times especially the wind noise!

That wallaby using its tail to walk rather than hop (normal for feeding but not locomotion), may have been attacked by dogs or have been struck by a vehicle and have a broken or crippled leg.

Too bad, I guess folks dump dogs there the same as they do here in S TX, USA.
