Guruji lights fires on, gives full 'body blows' to privileged devotees. It goes only two ways: one gets angry, hates Him, runs away and even maligns Him (the risk He takes) or one accepts the incomprehensible fire and acts on the instruction Guruji has given. If one accepts and obeys, Guruji takes away all the dark emotions that arise and starts to perform HUGE, HUGE miracles. Intimacy with Him is built that way. Intimacy with Guruji is not built by jumping up and down trying to catch His attention (like a monkey, as He says). Intimacy is built by obedience to Him when He is brutal. And then He gives Himself, He gives you God :-) The sweetest Amrit that is worth being born on earth. The kind that is making Swami Paranthapa cry. Jai to our beloved Guruji
It’s definitely a constant checking myself since I came across Bhakti Marga especially physically doing it “alone” as literally no one around me is on the same path. I’ve always been a bit of an outcast and had no real connection with people as two of the reasons …I have never been a drinker and don’t eat animals. That’s considered “weird” in my world. The more I listen to these podcasts and teachings the more noticeable it is to how everyone is running around distracting themselves ( me included ). The ignorance to where or what their food came from is especially highlighted to me just for sensory pleasures. This is the hardest one for sure. Thankyou so much for these talks .. I feel changes happening in a short time to the way I think and feel already. I think the main thing for me is to try to not be so judgmental and totally withdraw from society because I know there’s so much more to learn.
I’m Sri Vaishnava from South India. This interview is so profound and many ways an eye opener for me. When I see the TH-cam programs on Ghana Hindus I used to think it is one of the kind an exception to be a Hindu in Africa. The dominance of the two organised religions in Africa that virtually made indigenous religions extinct. It seems there is no room for Sanstana but now realise that seekers among African brothers and sisters find refuge in Sanatana which in many ways close to their ancestral beliefs in being pluralistic . Swami Parantapa ji is very pragmatic about spreading Vaishnavism in among people and imposing the food restrictions. I too feel that being Sri Vaishnava is primarily to surrender to the lots feet of Sriman Narayana in all his forms and acquiring the right qualities like Love compassion , honesty , Ahimsa etc and leave the choice of good to individual without stressing much on it. With Ahimsa sets in and with the blessings of Guru the Bhakths may take up food habit voluntarily. Another thing is being open or little flexible to other chosen gods along with Sri Vishnu by any devote , is very important in my opinion otherwise we end up like the Christian evangelicals , competing for supremacy of their denomination - for all Gods are part of Vedic tradition. Thank you Swami ji for bringing this conversation.
What an enlightening, inspiring and touching episode, thank you Swami Parantapa for your always sincere sharing and thank you swami Revatikaanta for offering this amazing platform, it’s definitely a share🙏🏽❤️👣
This video touched my heart so deeply that I bought the book "My Guru and I". I am reading it currently in little portions since the wisdom contained in it needs time find its way to my heart which us only a few days. And I also remember seeing Swami Paranthapa at the Just Love festival and the Holy Lake festival 2024. I didnt know much about him then. But I could feel and sense his deep love and heart - although we only greeted each other as passers by. So thank you for this amazing talk between Swami Paranthapa and Swami Revatikaanta. I am always amazed by these talks since they help me a lot.
I haven’t come across a podcast that is so pure heart based in its outpouring of love for the Supreme in the form of Guru. The first one hour of this podcast is pure Bhakti. Om Shree Gurubhyo Namah.
Jai Gurudev, this podcast helps me so much while I am going through a huge crisis which has been going on for weeks now. And it made me realize why. Which is another huge step on my journey. Thank you both for sharing these precious insights. I will try to come to Springen once my body is healed to receive Darshan and to buy this book. This pidcast ist so dense that I can only listen to it in small portions or chapterwise if you will.
Their souls are blessed to experience and realize krisna consciousness no forcing no dogma no threats just beautiful chant and feeling the inner divinity just beautiful
Too funny. Guruji asked Swami 'What?' when Swami said he loved Guruji in those early years. When Swami then pledged loyalty to Guruji, Guruji said, 'we'll see'. He has said that to me as well. 'We'll see' means 'When I severely test you, will you still confess love and loyalty to me?' hehe he! Even while obeying Guruji, I thought He was a cruel bully ...until He started to show me God in very unexpected places. I can't say as yet that I love Him but I know for sure that He loves me.
Thank you Swami P. for sharing such pearls of wisdom. Thank you Swami R. for asking the right questions that added to our knowledge. ‘My Guru and I’ is a must read. 🌺🙏
Jai Gurudev, how Beautiful this interview is! So much Sincerity, Depth, "so deep in your hearts", inexpressible Gratitude through words in the face of such Love ...
