I cried for most of the podcast, listening to Nikunja's story because I saw many similiarities in my story too! It was really reassuring. ❤ I explored many countries and religions before I went to New Zealand in my search. I also ended up living in an ashram in South Island! Got into yoga, did vipassana, in between all of that got into a lot of new age practices that later stopped resonating. Finally ended up feeling disconnected and confused - which hole to keep digging? Then I was invited to go to Peru and yes, I ended up in the jungle 😂 and just when I thought - is this my path now?! I was quickly pulled out, almost like by Divine intervention. Ended up returning to Europe and a week later went to Just Love festival where I met Guruji. The rest is still to be written... and I'm curious to see how this story will unfold. 😊 Thank you for sharing and walking the path. 🙏🕉
Jai Gurudev, I think it's funny you mentioned being a cashier and doing simple mundane things to experience God's love....I'm an initiated devotee and I literally am a cashier at Wal-Mart. The job allows me to be the love and kindness that people see in their day. I get compliments often about how happy I am, customers see me singing and smiling, I'm usually singing kirtan to myself lol. I also come in contact with Vaishnava at times, they see my "jewelry" and ask if I'm part of Iskcon. I say no , give them a card For the Paranitya Narasimha Temple (I live 1 hour from it) I tell them my name is Prananatha Das and they get wide eyes and smile. Some have even visited the temple and done om chanting. Such an amazing journey we are blessed to live. Nikunja, I met you over Navaratri when you came to Elmira and It was great hearing the Vitthala kirtan you played , it was outstanding. Thank you for this episode.
Very inspiring story, sometime it takes centuries for our ancestors to guide us to go to the right Guru. We were at some point of time all spiritual people... Welcome back home to spirituality and Dharma
Jai Gurudev > strong, sincere, pure > leading to the one Master, embracing all of us, coming from all walks of life. Like all different footprints in the animal kingdom do fit in the one huge footprint of the elephant, the Satguru, Parammahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda. We all are invited to discover who He is and therefore who we, beyond ourselves, are eternal > unconditional loving beings, serving Guru, God and life as a whole by the Grace of the Divine Person He IS, leading to God-realization - Just Love ❤🧡❤
Thank you so much. New age meditation saved my life. But it can create huge self absorption/ego and greed (seeking manifestations). After 7 years, me and my new age group in Kenya were delivered in what Swami Paranthapa calls a silver platter to Guruji. In one of our many spiritual adventures we were invited to meet a Swami for dinner. I didn't even know what a Swami was! Swami Paranthapa had been instructed by Guruji in that 2019 trip to go find the black Kenyans...😊
Thank you so much for this inspiring conversation, dear Swamiji and Nikunja! Your experiences and exploration of different spiritual traditions in search for truth and a meaning to life very much resonate with me. The esoteric, new-age movements i found can be an easy-going starter into spirituality without a need for commitment. Not having much of an aim, apart from maybe some "self-help advice" which is transient and doesn't guide the mind out of maya, they lack progressive direction. Direction & purpose however is exactly what anybody needs who is honestly searching. And this is where Guruji comes in, this is what Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda is giving: a multi-faceted but clear path to self-realisation, a clear notion on what God-realisation means while not deceiving about the difficulty of walking this path! Crucial is also the difference between one's own discipline and responsibility versus non-attachment and total trust in the SatGuru's Grace. Thank you again - the "Thinking Bhakti" Podcast is a beacon to my spiritual life as it continues to churn my heart & mind. Jai Gurudev!🙏🏽❤
Thank you for sharing your story of dreaming about a Lion chasing you, then it later turned our to be gurudev. I was able to connect as I have had a Lion in my dream but I never understood the meaning of it until maybe now
Thank you for this deep conversation. I saw Nikunja differently after this. At the same time got feeling and participating in your conversation as well. It’s so important for people who don’t have sangha where you live to have you and engage with you as sangha ❤
What a beautiful story. Yesterday while doing dishes was thinking when will Swamiji going to have a female bhakti, and this video came out! Thank you for sharing your path. It answers lots of questions! Very inspiring! Many blessings to both of you! Jai Gurudev!
Guys, you are so so wonderful! So much love, wisdom, intelligence and freedom! I look forward to each episode with impatience.! And i'm proud that in our Bhakti family there are so many incredible and in every sense beautiful people. Jai Gurudev!
Jai Gurudev! My sincere thanks and gratitude for this interview which really resonated with me as a devotee. I wish I had taken notes (but was driving) to capture all I wish to convey, but will message you both once I let this simmer more. I hope you interview Nikunjaji again and also talk more about the life as a Grihastha. Much love 🙏🏼🧘🏻♀️📿🫶
Swami Revati: PLEASE READ. I am writing you from Colombia, south america. Today, when I write this message, is the celebration of the mahasamadi of Lahiri Mahasaya, the second guru of my lineage of kriya yoga. And, despite of my sincere practice, I feel the need of knowing a living guru to support my spiritual path. QUESTION: Are there any plans of P. Vishwananda to come to visit Colombia or any South American country soon? And if not, I would need to travel Germany to meet him? I know you can ask him personally. I feel I need to knowing him. Huge thanks for your service and for reading me. Jay Guru.

I am from Vrindavan, India! Swami ji, I would like to tell you something very important. Islam and Christianity are continuously influencing India and Hindus Today's Hindus consider Islam and Christianity to be good, logical while our own Hinduism is considered illogical, unscientific, irrational and wrong And in our India there is no scholar to answer on Islam and Christianity. Many Christian And Islamic Scholars Like Zakir Naik is continuously speaking against Hinduism and no Hindu preacher or Hindu scholar comes forward to answer him. Why? Isn't it your responsibility to answer Zakir Naik? Zakir Naik is banned in India but he is invited to India's neighbouring country Pakistan and from there he influences the Hindus of India and tries his best to convert them to his religion. Which he has already done before. How can we stop Hindus from converting to other religions to save themselves? Please guide us. Your guidance is much needed
Hinduism does not need Indians. Indians need Hinduism. In the age of hypocrisy, what you mention is normal. But remember what Lord Buddha said: "Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth".
Sirji Christianity does not ask humans to search Jesus God but instead God came down and searched lost souls and saved them +++++it is good God who searched us first
As Hindus, we don't consider God to be separate from us. There is no his/him and us. There is no question of God loving or hating us. The grace of God is universal. If God is truly omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent, then that divine energy permeates with every living and non-living thing in existence. Nothing can and will not exist without God. If this is not the case, what you call as God is not God but another limited being subject to birth and death like everything else. Hence this idea of lost souls and soul searching, God coming and going or talking to you etc. is alien and illogical for a Hindu. For us as Hindus, our life goal is to realize that supreme divine energy within and merge or dissolve in it, nothing more nothing less. We don't seek rewards, heavens and angels etc., that's a very limited aspiration from what we seek which is the freedom to be God itself. I hope you understood what I said Sir Ji.
If i let go of attachment How could I ever prepare myself to evolve? How does detachment of expectations aid me in my endeavours to achieve goals that i aspire? I'm really curious to know. Hare krishna ❤
Are goals and expectations the same thing? Can you have goals and detach from the results? To be attached to higher, divine goals like having a relationship with God or the Universal form is ok, I think. Best of luck ⭐️
Attachment means bounding into too materlistic things. Evolve means gaining true knowledge like what is life ? Why we are here? What is the purpose of life? Etc... Materlistic uplifting is not true uplifting. We should work hard whatever we want in this materlistic world, because we need to do some work to survive ourselves in this world. But we should always remember this is not permanent life, so that we will not fear to death. Peace 🕊️
If you attach yourself to something, how can you grow and evolve? There are no goals in life except to grow and evolve. Achievements, accomplishments and success are not goals since they are momentary and everything comes to zero the moment you pass on. If your goal is to keep repeating this cycle of birth and death, that's not growth or evolution, its eternal suffering and damnation. If you want to come out of this cycle, then you have to come out of the cycle of attaching yourself to things that are impermanent. There is nothing permanent in your journey, not your body, not your mind, not other people, not your experiences and impressions everything is finite and subject to decay and death. Only one thing is permanent, and that thing is you the manifestation of the supreme consciousness. Hence act and perform your duties with this in mind and don't get attached to outcomes, Be a refuge onto yourself. Easier said than done I agree, nevertheless that's how it is with everything that's invaluable in our life.

There are seekers not preachers.
33:50 gurujii isn't this quote the same as Rigved 1.164.46?
How can we understand this in terms of bhakti?
Please try tantra shadna. Narayan shadna its very powerful.
don't preach what you don't practice
