So beautiful, as usual. Thanks Master for emotion. MERCI.
Beautiful i had an elderly lady when I went to visit my great grandparents she played the harpsichord and i was very little but i would have to get it out from under her bed set it in her lap but not one time did she not play for me i really miss my great grandparents and grandparents that carried me to see them but i really miss her i don't know what her name was or any of her family i wish i did id love to know who and what became of her harpsichord she'd play for me Amazing Grace and Wildwood Flower every Sunday afternoon id make a beeline to her place it was assisted living kinda it was in the seventies they had one bedroom a bath a living room and kitchen thats it it couldn't have been more than 800 sq. Ft. But i loved to hear her play
I found a harp that looks very similar on Facebook marketplace of all places. My husband and I are into and we pick up instruments that look interesting. It was sold to me as an Zither auto harp, but when I took it into the Music store to have it cleaned up, they informed me it was not an auto harp because it did not have “keyboard“. He he didn’t call it a keyboard, he called it’s something else, but my mind is running a blank right now. I am currently learning how to play it😊
This is a chord zither, an instrument developped by German settlers in USA in the mid - late 1800s. It was mass produced and sold door to door in many countries including Australia. The idea was to make an instrument that anybody could play, using numbers and letters. However, not everyone was able to keep the instrument in tune (62 strings) and most finished up unused.
It's good to listen to such great music, but try to perform it?! What's a great skill it's necessary to have to create such musical cover on that instrument?! Many thanks for your amazing videos...😊
this instrument awake my mother into new life. She has played it excelentley - Thank you very much for this fantastic sound ....the loveley remeber
Love all three songs s o beautiful
I have a violin zither. Now zithers are just pretty much plastic toys. In reality, a zither is the voice of Angels. Thank you, Sir. Love from Canada.
At least you can listen to it some of the music of late you feel like running away!
Congratulations! This music-instrument is already forgotten, but this video is a sign of new life! Thank you!🙂✌

Happy sound ! 😆👍

Awesome!!
Id love to restore the zither I have and learn to play it. A 100 string folding Harpeleik-Zither from 1871.
Where us a good place to get a zither and what is the price range for a nice one, thanks
Does it say somewhere what this is? Is it a zither?

Etienne de Lavaulx: Thank you for the information. I love your beautiful music.
This instrument name is canόn, and it was invented from Pythagoras, when he was trying to create the laws of music. Canόn means law!
Será q tem aqui no Brasil?

nice ~
Nice
Absolutely Lovely. Your playing did soothe my savage breast. I am very thankful to both God & you. Your talent is truly a God Given gift. ☺
do you have the music sheets for these pieces?
wow
Hi, I'm from Buenos Aires Argentina, do you know someone who can teach me to play the citara?
This is a Akkord - zither. It does not have a fingerboard. It is like a harp. The Konzert Zither has a fingerboard like a guitar. Cheers
Thank you for your answer, it also sounds very clear and bright. But this is probably due to your ability. I have to try that! best regards
Do you play it like you would a guitar?
🙃
I like automatic
