Thnx a bunch sir ... relatively to whether loud or silent reading almost ss enjoy reading loudly and i personally opt for it to articulate and refine my ss pronunciation since i do believe that learners should master it from the early phase of learning of course no over focusing on the perfect pronunciation....and it seems obvious that in some classes if you assign a silent reading of the text no one will read... loud reading awaken their focus and help the teacher involve the learners into a variety of text attack.... Reading won't take care of itself especially within large classes ....thnx again sir
My pleasure ❤️🤍💐 Just keep in mind that Teaching Reading has nothing to do with Teaching Pronunciation.. These are two different lessons. Each of them has its own phases and strategies. In Teaching reading, the focus is always on skills and strategies that help students comprehend the text do the related tasks.
In my first interview in the United Arab Emirates several years ago for a job as an English teacher, I was asked about reading instruction skills. Unfortunately, my answer was wrong. Thank you very much, Mr. Rashid."
Hello Maram, For me, the best sources to get texts for EFL students (all levels) are textbooks, especially foreign textbooks (Cambridge and Oxford textbooks). All the best, ❤️🤍💐
Thank you Si Rachid Could you please give us some tips on how to use the new textbook of 7th grade 'Spotlight' . As you know everything thing is included in one lesson (, grammar، vocab, listening, reading, writing..)
My pleasure Si RACHID, Well, I have no idea about that textbook. I have not seen it yet. But, based on what you said, it's a good one. That's the modern and most useful textbook!! The one that integrates all the skills. The integration of different skills is important. I always do it in my classes though it's not in the textbook.
thank you teacher for this informative and useful video
