This is what I absolutely love about the Lana romance option. She's written so naturally for the lesbian romance. Where with other same-sex romances, they feel way too forced and not too great. For example, I didn't like how Jaesa all of the sudden had feelings for my female Sith Warrior. It came out of nowhere. I know before, she was exclusive only to the male, but that doesn't excuse this. So here, Lana is potentially a lesbian right off the back. I know she can be romanced by a male as well but I leave Vette exclusive for the male. Lana is my canon love interest for my female warrior.
Actually dark side Jaesa's loyalty to the female Warrior only makes sense under the assumption that she indeed always loved the Warrior. It was not intended then but the romance story fits much better than the Nadia romance for example.
I always felt that Jaesa was meant to be romancable for both male and female players from the beginning, but was made male-only in the base game for some bullshit reason

The practically universal failure of those amendments as a result of the vote no campaigns told the US that it was okay to start having proper lgbt representation in younger-aimed media; hence why Makeb introduced gay characters to SWTOR.

Dragon Age Origins had 2 bisexual romanceable characters and that was 2009. Going even further, there was a bi romanceable character in the first Mass Effect back in 2007. So I'm wondering why Swtor, a 2011 game from the same company, initially had 0 lgbt romances. And I know you said 2011-2012 was when anti-lgbt sentiment was at its highest, but every romance option in Dragon Age 2 was bi, and Mass Effect 3 had bi romance options as well as their first exclusively gay romance option, and those games were released in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

I have not had anymore flirt options and I have been trying to just mass gain influence with her. Is there anyway to marry here at this point? I have finished all story stuff so far.
I don't have any idea. But I think, if you missed the point, there's no way to marry her later. The flirt scenes (also the marry scene) are connected to the story contect.
You probably already found the answer, during chapter 7 of KOTFE you have a one time flirt option that seems like you’re going to flirt with Theoran, but it’s really a flirt for whoever you’ve gained most influence and romance points with. If you don’t do this it locks you out of the romance.
Yeah I think I missed it too... Just went straight into onslaught so I talked with the robot thing and when the am I proposed to lana question came up I said yes. Checked my info with her said I proposed and she said yes.
It depends on your relationship to Lana. During the game there are a lot of opportunities to romance Lana. If you did it often enough you will have the chance to marrie her.
Tbh i wish they introduced characters that were female and could only be romanced by females. I would say I wish they add males that can only be romanced by males but they already have one.

It depends on your decisions during the game. first you have to romance her and then you can start a relationship with Lana. After that you possible can marry her.
I'm going with the Republic. My disdain for their leadership not withstanding... The Empire will remain the aggressors. I would rather fight for the lesser evil. Besides, I can't just stab the backs of those who rely on me. Iokath was about adding those who aided me. I would gladly stay separate because neither side truly fights for the good of the universe. The Empire was shaping up to be ideal but they reverted back to conquering... It was they that attacked first.
You forget about the atempt of eliminate the terms limits of Saresh on 3632 BBY so she could serve indefinetly, and the try of taking power in the Alliance room, so, let me see...when the Empire was only focused in Zakull...she tried to seize power over the Alliance...not much of a democratic way here
Because, Lana was the first female romance option, since the release of FA/SoR, so they made her and other female companions romance options in later expansions, besides the optional companions in RotHC.
