I'll admit I'm very curious about the Sweet bean paste. Part of my mind always defaults to something like refried beans but sweet... Maybe it is, dunno but I'd love to try. These videos really do allow us to see and learn more and more about the great (And often affordable) meal treats you can get in Japan. As always, thanks! And congrats to the winners of the drawings!
A couple years ago in Portugal, in a really really expensive Japanese place I tried my first anko paste desert. It was the best desert I have ever had and Im quite the restaurant traveller. (Subenshi Sushi, Aveiro)
Anko paste almost tastes like chocolate.
Sweet red bean paste almost taste like chocolate. It's very addictive.
