Scott I thought I was a good Butcher, your videos prove to me there is so much more to this Trade. Ive Been a meat cutter in the USA for around 25 years. Thanks Scott
Great ideal for a catering event. Back in my good ole days I made Hot Legs. I did all the trimming to the bottom, left the top alone and got my regular old raggedy Hot Wing sauce and made Hot Legs. Please keep ypu videos coming! I look forward to what the maestro has in store.
Caught this bit inspiration and totally loved it. French both side of the drum stick made two versions one with skin and one without skin seasoned the meat with salt, pepper, garlic seasoning. Wrapped each in thin cut sliced bacon and then applied a top season with paprika, chili powder, cumin sugar ect. Cooked to 175 degrees . Last 10 minutes applied a Hawaiian Style Teriyaki Glaze. Cooked another 5 minutes to allow glaze to tack up and glazed one more time cooked for another pulled and rested. Try it that way Scott your mouth will be dancing a happy dance!
I just had dinner, and am stuffed to the gills. Yet, my mouth was watering out of control and I remembered the drumsticks I have in the freezer... *drool*
Finally! My wife hates bone-in chicken wings, and I haven't made them at home in a long time. I showed her your method, and she's willing to give it a go! Thanks Scott. SRP to the rescue yet again! 😊
Been noticing you have been upping you number of videos, and I have to say, I am so excited! Your videos are always thoroughly informative and inspirational to my cooking. I really like videos like this that do not require any special equipment (nothing against those videos, I really wanna get together the tools to start making sausage) , and I will definitely be trying these soon! Keep up the awesome work Scott!
It does take a lot of time and effort but as with most things worth having the result it really cool and I can not wait to try these out at my next party. Thank you for sharing! I really enjoy your channel.
Scott. I cut meat for 30 plus years & I've grown tired of idiots. THANKS FOR BEING A PROFESSIONAL!!! You're insightful, informative & entertaining. Not to mention talented, skilled & knowledgeable. I read an article just the other day, by an "EXPERT". He said if you're tired of Top Round roast, use an INSIDE ROUND. They're much more flavorful. Also, if top blade steaks are too tough, try a "FLAT IRON"...& home cooks believe in these IDIOTS. I really enjoyed your chicken cushion video & will give that a shot. Keep those videos coming!! THANKS AGAIN my friend...Tim
Dude your videos are so awesome!!! I have recently taken up time in the kitchen and your talent is a great inspiration!!! Keep them coming. All the best from the dirty south! Mississippi, USA
I love how you create recipes that are unconventional. You are bold and unbound by the dreary, routine ways of preparing the same old same old. Same with the pork belly plaits...SRP plaits. "This is food porn baby"...it's a movement!
I ain't no fan of chicken legs but dammit Scott you have done it again !! Another fresh look at what is something that has been neglected for years Bravo sir Bravo 👏👏👏
That's so goofy and fun it'd be perfect for Halloween. I like that it's so easy to eat and just a nice chub of meat you can tear into even if you've had way too much nog.
Scott, I'm gonna do this. Ty for posting this. Big thumbs up from me. By the way, you have made me hungry and I don't have any chicken in the fridge lol.
Scott just made your chicken x bones but I also added a twist coated chicken with honey and encrusted with potato chips and seasoned flour and deep fried
Hi Scott love all your videos, i haven't commented before. But i use to do a something slightly different. Free the top of the drumstick and stuff it with any game mince spiced up punjabi style and tie up top and foil both ends. Keep up the good videos.

Reminds me of the meat energy power up in every video game in the 90's.
Chicken on the cob.
The kids would love those!

Made these twice last month and it was a big hit! I made the glaze with a bit too much of orange marmalade but there was not leftovers!

I bet this will be in Jamie Oliver's next cook book.
