Nice video! Did you use autofocus with CX350? I've read that last firmware has some improvements regarding autofocus, what's your experience with autofocus, is it reliable? Thanks! :-)

Yes, both manual and auto. The shot where I tilt the camera up and focus on the more distant flowers was auto - quite impressive.

Hello! Do you think the camera has a good enough autofocus for low light (concerts) or sports video (fast movement). I'm planning to use it for livestreaming and a reliable autofocus would be a must. Thanks!

Hello Sebastian, I have only limited experience using this camera in very low light conditions,, but I do know that many have used it for theatrical performances. Remember, if it is a dark scene, you expose for the brighter point and do not bring up the exposure to better see the darker parts, the secret is to maintain the high contrast between the light and dark areas. I have an FX6 and that is brilliant in low light, but in many cases the CX350 is my 'go to' camera. CX350 auto focus is slower than the FX6 but it does work, as does the auto tracking.

Great video! I was wondering if the CX350 was doing those slow zooms? Looking for a camera that does very smooth start and stops on the zoom for live events.

The final zoom out was in camera, otherwise Ken Burns FX in FCP.. Glad you liked it, the CX350 is frequently my go to camera despite having an FX6, but of course it'd 'horses for courses'!
